Thoughout all games i have played, the agile fighter has been a constant topic
in terms of survivability and tankability. Survival for a fighter based of Dex should
not be hard because of his high evade/dodge, and beause he/she is not getting
hit that often, he/she should make a great tank.
I am currently playing through the game on my first round and i am already
planning on my second playthrough, as a dexterityfighter. My 2 prime trees
will be the dualwield and warrior, and my 2 specs will be reaver and champ.
Has anyone else been interested in doin this build, or have you already?.
Is it possible - The agile fighter tank?

My first play-through was as a split STR/DEX dual wield Templar/Berserker. Pumped enough CON in there to hit around 450 health by the end of the game when including items I was wearing. Made a much better tank than I'd expected. Definitely better than Alistair by end-game, that's for sure.
Approaching the end of the main questline (around levels 15+. I ended at 20), it'd take a yellow, or a white ogre/golem on the extreme to hit for greater than 1. Found myself tanking just about everything I came across due to my damage output, and the damage I'd take Could easily be kept up with by Wynne. Still pretty squishy against casters though if I wasn't paying enough attention to go all Templar on their asses.

I've seen similar deals. It's very similar to a "rogue tank" in WoW. In DAO, it will absolutely not work in Normal or higher difficulty.
Problems:
1. You cannot dodge spells.
2. You cannot dodge while being flanked/an arrow to your back.
3. Without a shield and its talents, flank attacks will hurt a lot.
4. You cannot dodge while stunned by spells which you cannot dodge.
5. Although you can dodge direct knockdowns or grabs, you will not be able to resist indirect knockdowns(requires physical resistance from high Con, or shield wall talent) such as charge, tail swipe or shockwave.

My play through actually was on a mixture of Normal/Hard, so it's definitely doable. Though as a Templar, mages proved to be dainty treats, and flanking really isn't much of a problem with higher level weapons and your AE abilites, when mixed with a well placed cone of cold.
That being said, I relied a bit more heavily on Alistair for the first portion of the game, as I didn't really start to shine until the tail end of things.

Here is the link for my sword and board tank list of gear stats etc. I have to say that so far in the game there is very little that i fear, and very little that i can not tank, and numbers do not seem to matter unless there is more than 1 mage in the group. Mages die first assault, overpower, pummel, if necessary a shield bash and the mage dies.

I am so sold on this build that when i make my 2H spec warrior and my mage type character i will make a NPC tank to this build spec. What puzzles me is the spiders have this attack where they drag you to the ground. I did the Oz quest line last so i watched several of my other party members get dragged down (the pin you to the ground attack) but i noticed i got a few resists while tanking several spiders so i am not sure if that attack is resistable. I have not figured out how to tell what attack you resist so i can not be sure if i am resisting that attack or not.
Gotta love the tank and spank

I believe you are talking about the Overwhelm ability that a few monsters (and your dog) have. Resistance to it, I believe, would be based off your physical resistance, and your ability to pass a knockdown check.

My current PC is a rogue with high evade and decent magic resistances. She sorta acts like a tank, sometimes, except the threat generated by the two warriors and mage generally keeps the baddies off her back.
