As long as the character creator doesn't get gimped a la Mass Effect, I'll be happy.
But, since they only have to work with one race, maybe this time they'll give us even more in-depth customization? I really hope so.
I want selectable bodytypes and more hairstyles (or CUSTOMIZABLE HAIRSTYLES *gasps*).

LMAO i'd love to see a greasy overweight hawke running around saving everybody, would be even more badass if as he levelled up his strength and speed, he lost weight and got more buff. not going to happen though.

I love the idea of the appearance of the character changing based on stats.

Playing the wrong game if you want that. Go play Fable.

Hardly any games that let you make a custom character even have WAVY hair, let alone curly hair. I want me some CURLS.
And I'm not just talkin' looong flowing locks on the ladies either. Give us some short curls for our bro guys, too!  <3RINGLETS, BABY... RINGLETS.

I want to make my own Ginger Ninja: Hawke rogue and call hum Rufus. He will kick butt with his epic ginger curls. I will be sad if I cannot do this.

So any feature not allready included in a game means you should just forget about it? What is the harm in making suggestions?  Why don't you tell the people who want wavy hair to go play a game where it is available? Obviously new things in a game are stupid and you just want a carbon copy of DA:O. Idiot.

From the demo it doesn't look the character creator has changed much. Hopefully we'll at least have a better selection of hair styles and colours and also better tattoos.

Ok, for some reason my character customization is locked (I have the full game- uninstalled the demo the other week). The only thing I can choose from are the presets. Is there a button or something I missed to unlock the advanced customization options (such as skin tone, hair, and eye color?)

Edit: Alright, I figured it out. Apparently you can't use either female black haired preset version of Hawke to build from- you need to choose one of the other presets and build from there. I find that rather odd, but that's what it was.

What mod did you use?
Would you mind sharing this character's savefile?

Apr 03: Just installed DA2 and I am apalled at the character creation models. What happened ? (1) the faces are all clones (2) they are all clones of round, fat faced dwarf women with high forheads.
The characters in Origins were beautiful. Is there anyway to transfer/copy the character creator and sprite "skins" from Origins into DA2 ?

There is no point to even wasting time customizing a character for a female rogue. Whether yours has white - blond - brown or black hair its just this doughy faced little frump. Make it a fat jawed frump or a skinny jawed frump, a brown-green or blue eyed frump - THEY LOOK FRUMPY, round faced and fat !

How could Bio possibly go from having something so "right" to this ? Is there any fix for this ?
