I had thought about making a South Park reference when WoW was brought up, but I don't want to offend anyone.  Even though the episode was hilarious.

As far as video game-y stuff goes, I just got the PC version of DA today, and I plan to spend some time working with the toolset.  I also just started my third playthrough of the game, and my second of Awakening.  I will almost certainly get Force Unleashed 2 when it comes out.  And I may check out the Mass Effect games.

Well I have The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest and the rest of The Girl Who Played with Fire to read, preferably before the 3rd movie comes out.

Then there's Fable 3 on October 26th, and Towers of Midnight (the next Wheel of Time book) on November 2nd, possibly preceded by a rereading of the series up to that point. December and January should be pretty slow, but then the next EQII expansion comes out on February 8th. I am an extremely casual MMOer at best, but Velious demands at least a look around. Then maybe I'll squeeze in The Wise Man's Fear (the next book by Patrick Rothfuss), which comes out on the 1st of March, and hopefully have no other creative loose ends so I can enjoy DA2 to its fullest.

Plus add in finding a new job and moving in there somewhere.

They lifted the 1893 Chicago World's Fair over the midwest with giant balloons and made a floating city, also there's a magic girl with roses? I don't know.

And a robot with a heart in a see-through glass bulb that throws a man outside of a window, there's either a second one that grabbed the magic rose girl or they move extremely fast.

Neither the show nor the novels were all that good, but the show had Tabrett Bethell. In this rare case I say just see the show (and just season 2 at that) and forget the novels. Especially the later ones...man, if I didn't have a compulsion to finish every series I start, I'd have given up on them like 3-4 books in. They basically turn into a bunch of Ayn Rand rants. The best way I've heard the ridiculousness expressed is "Richard carves a statue that turns people into capitalists." It sounds hilarious, but it's not that far from the truth.

Working my butt off at my job, making dat monay, filling up my resume with writing samples, studying nonstop for classes, and just generally continuing on the path to become a full-fledged zombie.

Waiting for post office to deliver No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle, then a few other backlogged Wii games. Everyone pirates wii games where I'm from, there are no good game (software) retails shops here, must mail order. Nearest legit PC games store is about 35km away, thank the gods for Steam.

Between this forum and constant DA stuck in my brain, I'm just sick of DAO now, hoping for something new in DA2. Happy gaming all.

For those long, cold nights, I enjoy my own recipe of bubbling, sticky, liquified nerd rage with dashes of unintelligible ranting and healthy spoonfuls of high pitched whinging, all slow cooked over the burning, crumbled remains of jaded fanboy souls.

I call it murder soup. Delicious, delicious murder soup.

Play ME2 until Fallout New Vegas and then if that is good, I'll play that.  If not, I'll go back to ME2 with a dash of Halo Reach.
