Not just no highlight during mouseover but no feedback at all or ability to click on/attack it?

Also can you turn off the highlighting of weapons/shields held by creatures as you can with the creatures themselves?

Would asking this under the "NWN 1 Builders - Toolset" section have been more appropriate?

Nope.

Turning of the creature's highlight should also affect anything it has equiped.

Probably.

You'd think, but no. Setting targetable to 0 in appearance.2da only effects the creature itself. Are you referring to a different method?

Probably

Yeah that's it. I just checked it using the "NoGlow" creature appearances from the CEP and the sword/shield does indeed glow when highlighted. Not very noticible but it's there.

If there was a way to disable the item glow it would probably be in the baseitems.2da but I don't see anything in there that would do it.

I thought of baseitems.2da myself and also came up dry when I first encountered the issue. Seems odd to hide something like that away. Guess they just never thought of anyone wanting to turn it off. A shame as it's quite noticeable in a dimly lit tunnel setting.

I much appreciate the effort though 420.

Actually you can and i have one.I made a custom creature with a perment visual effect. The visual effect is a bunch of small black dots that looks like a swam of bugs.Im not exzactly sure of the visual effect name but it only seems to work with this visual effect. You can attack it with area effect weapons but you cant click on it.One way to get a attack on it though is if your already in a fight and the auto attack grabs it as your next target or it seems if your flat footed and it attacks from the back side of you and thew computer actaully attacks it for you.I never seen anyone else use it but its definetly not targetable.

I think i might have given the custom creature either a empty neck slot or some real small neck peice seeing that you need at least one body part for a custom creature. That is targetable in a sense but i can never target that in game or in dm mode.
