what would be the point of keeping the Warden in every game?

we know how the wardens turn out in years they go nuts from the tainted blood and end up killing themselves or just going mad. There is no point really in playing as the Warden character past the first game and it's expansions, Especially with all we know about them. It just makes sense that each Dragon Age game has a new character we play as
I don't want to keep the Warden in every game. I want an ending to the warden's tale. And don't give me the old tired line that it ended in DA:A, because quite obviously from the epilogue it did not. There are more loose ends dangling than I care to count.

My Warden is dead, unless you're trying to force a canon on me?

not everything needs to be tied some things need to be left to the imagination. Like if the warden decides to go looking for Morrigan, sometimes it's better to imagine than to see it

How do you figure? Because the captions read "that's another story"?
Why does that automatically mean the story continues? Have you never heard of stories ending with "but that's another tale"?
I forget. We are in the age where everything vague means a sequel.

But are there really? Sure I wouldn't mind some DLC or something to flesh out a bit more of the Wardens story, but at the same time know that the story is pretty much finished.

I agree. That doesn't mean however, the character should be Commander Shepard, use a dialogue wheel, and in general, scream "Mass Effect" as that's not what Dragon Age was marketed as. This talk from Bioware is PR buzz, the game is being designed to suit console users.

Lord knows how they'd survive ten-twenty years ago.

just a quick question: If the Warden in DA:O partook in the Dark Ritual, was the taint removed? If so, does that affect his lifespan any?
No I don't think he gets a get-out-of-jail-free card like that. Avernus on the other hand could probably do that for him, if the writers so desire.

Good for you. I disagree. If an author ended book ended as poorly as that, I'd never buy another book from said author.

Without 50 million SAWs? Dear God!
I don't understand why people think SAW is so smart. "Because it's about showing people how to live!" No, that's what the first one was about.

It would also be nice to have some closure. I personally would eventually like a finale expansion the would end with your warden and LI (if any), or the warden's companion of choice answering your calling in the deep roads. Depending on our choices, our ending could be heroic and honorable, or self serving. And, if you chose the ultimate sacrifice, then you already have this closure for your warden, but can explore the calling on a new warden.

Because change is skeeeery. *hissssss*
Haha, yes. I am constantly amazed at how people react to certain changes, we really don't need to follow the life of every character we read about/see in a movie/play as all the way to the end. Luke Skywalker's story continued after Return of the Jedi but the story being told is complete at the end of that movie anyway, right?
The Dragon Age games have always seemed to be more about Thedas as a whole, rather than one particular character, I applaud them for that as it could lead to a variety of consistantly fresh stories that also tells the overarching story of the Dragon Age itself. Rather than just following one character and being much more limited.
I wonder how fans of the Hobbit coped when they found out LotR wasn't about Bilbo Baggins?

Really? I remember a load of complaints.
Edit: Oh wait, I forgot we're supposed to be wearing pink colored glasses.

So I guess you didn't play Awakening with your Warden? Bioware screwed the ultimate sacrifice ending already with their expansion, so they can as well go on.

I do have Awakening, although I recreated an Orlesian.
