The confliction between Content rating and difficulty of the game.
-obviously this game is rated for those 18+, you're reading this cuz you played it, you know what I'm talking about. But since you played the game you know how simple it is, simple enough for 12 years olds. Clearly they made the game with a wide range of age group in mind to maximize profits, which is why I hate it.
-12 year olds shouldn't be playing a game with the material this game contains, but they can surely play through it because its way too [sammich] simple.

Also, its called RPG for a reason. If you are like me:ph34r:, you like RPGs because of the skill required to play, engaging storyline, and depth of gameplay that all RPGs contain.
Mass Effect 2 should be called Really Boring Arcade Shooter, because that what it is.
-What the [lunch] is with this new level system? It just sums up that last bit of gameply and awards you money, really takes away from any the RPG part of the game.
-Don't get me wrong, the story was engaging, but I stumbled through it pissed off at all the things I liked about the first game that they replaced. namely, the ammo system.
-instead of worrying about my guns overheating in combat because they never run out of ammo, I got to run around these pre-determined combat zones looking for these universal heat cartridges that magically work with any weapon no matter what size, make, or model. Because for some stupid reason I can't just [gravy] buy enough to last me a level. No, they're just conveinently placed around the narrow levels that are predetermined for you. (very arcade like). Unlike the free world combat from the first game that made it an decent RPG title.

Even worse is the false advertising of a galaxy you can openly explore.
-they trick those simple minds into this by letting you control a little starship around the galaxy map instead of a cursor, its they same damn thing. They even make you worry about fuel as you travel in this little arcade galaxy and how far you are from refueling stations, its lame and unneeded.
-just like the first game each solar system has a random assortment of planets and moons, but you are always only allowed to land on one, maybe two of these. The rest are uninhabitalbe, completely understable- but whats not understandable is the one [bacon] planet you can explore out of every system is just couple of walkways, shops, maybe a saloon or whatever, and then the combat level you're only allowed to visit once. these are inhabited by a couple of NPCs to talk to about meaningless side-quests that are just retracing your steps and talking to other NPCs and making decisions so they can justify the good and evil meter. It is very LINEAR i.e.(narrow, straight line, does not allow for creative or inventive game play)

The Worst part is weapon upgrading, no more of that needless weapon customization that allowed for inventive play from the first game, (that last bit was sarcasm, It means I meant the opposite of what I just said) I find I need to label and even define my sarcasm for those simpler minded kids on here.
-to customize my weapons I must now scan all those uninhabitable planets in a very tedious and boring manner for 4 different resources that are scattered about the planets surface. How you ask do I do this? with a magical cursor ofcorse. Once I agonizing collect these resources I can then just upgrade all the weapons of a cetain sort. -No reason or explanation though, it just costs 150000 Tridium or whatever to make my sniper rifles do extra damage. Not like I had to vist shops to buy bigger barrels or assign them better scopes because I sold those resources for a profit. (more sarcasm)
-you can probably correct me on this one, but I was told that I can't even buy all the upgrades for my weapons because the game does not allow me to make that much money or something like that. if this is true its an even bigger flaw than its given credit.

So in conclusion, I fought with myself through the campaign in a very bad mood and kept my save in hopes the 3rd game dosn't [breakfast] up as badly as this one.

Go ahead and trash my creditbility for spelling and gramatical errors but I dont care enough to spell check. and that stuff really dosn't matter anyway, you read it and understood it just fine enough to correct it.

[No swearing, please.]
