I defeated the boss in Templar's Nightmare, Vereveel, but when I try to go to my companion's nightmare, they are not available, nor is the inner Sanctum.  If I go back through all areas in the fade, including Templar's Nightmare, everything is dead, as it should be. When I select the fade pedestal, there is a symbol on Templar's Nightmare (3 horizontal ~'s with a line through them).

Anyone seen this? Is there something I haven't done to open up the remaining areas?

Symbol shows that you have beaten the boss in that area.



You need to beat the bosses in every area. You've only beaten one.

Every section (or island, if you will) you complete while in the fade will show a symbol on the pedestal map. If you're only showing one section with a symbol, you have yet to complete the other areas of the fade.

As far as I know all the areas need to have a symbol over them (burning tower. mage asunder and something darkspawn). Also the point where Niall is, use your spiritform to go through the spirit door. There you will find another demon to kill. If you have killed all those demons the nightmares in which your companions are stuck will be open aswell the inner sanctum. Good luck!

Like the others said: every area on the map should have a symbol in it that shows that you have finished the boss for that area or that you 'rescued' a companion. You must have missed some doors and passages here and there. You are using the special transformer skills, right? You went through mouse holes, you hammered down big doors and entered spirit doors?

Btw, I had a hard time with that whole thing. The swimmy screen of the fade gave me a headache, and then I got lost, and...All in all it took me 3 hours to finish the darn thing. Not my favorite part so far.

you have to use your forms to reach certain places in the different fade areas until you get all 4 so you can beat the bosses. Once you beat the bosses a symbol will appear over it and a white line towards the center and the nightmare area's will pop up.



Saving your companions will make the center battle a lot easier, but you can win the center alone if you make good use of the forms.
