I am working on an area and experimenting with terrain textures until I get the desired effect. This often consists of using 2 or 3 textures in close proximity. I'll then decide that the textures don't work for me and then try to "replace" those 2 or 3 textures with a single texture to start over.
The problem is that now when I add a new texture to the tile it appears in the listing of textures under "Selection (Advanced)" in the next slot after the slots belonging to the textures I deleted from the tile. (As in there 2 textures in the first 2 slots, 1-2 blank slots, then the new texture I'm adding.). This results in a situation where the texture I'm adding is seen as Black.
Is this a known issue and is there a way of fixing it?

I've run into something like that before, restarting the toolset fixed the problem for me.

Alright thanks... it took a couple tries fiddling with what textures were used at time of save to get that to work but I got it in the end.
