Lelianna, Morrigan, and Alistair are my top favs.
I like everyone (even Oghren). There isn't one character that I didn't use or didn't like. Except for Loghain...

Morrigan, Sten.
Morrigan... I ama guy who is a suck up for women with hard personalities... just crave it like a puzzle to be solved.
ANd Sten is like another culture, so mysterious, so violent, yet so reliable. very nice done character.
Awakening.. only played it once, so I never got to get in touch with the characters.
Still, the innital Warrior that female.... totally bonded with her... only to see her die lol that was a downer moment... I admit I spent 30 minutes in wiki trying to find a way to avoid her being killed by the ritual... to no avail of course.
ANd the mage... witty, Allistai like sarcasm... yet very confident of himself lol love that guy so fun.
the others... never got to know em... the Howl guy... the elf beuty... and the shorty... never got to know em alot.

Tied between Morrigan and Alistair for party banter...
On my first playthrough ever I kept Morrigan in party despite my goody two shoes behaviour only for that..
Beginning to like Sten as well, just having trouble fitting a 2 handed warrior in my party along with tank, rogue, healer and me if i'm not filling any of those

Zevran - his random conversation makes me laugh.
Sten - he kind of reminds me of Spock of Star Track, the warrior version XD
Shale - Always calls my character "It" and passionately believes that birds are more evil than darkspawns - who knows, he maybe right.
and my favorite NPC, the only one that I have the option to kill but could not (I kill everything that is killable) - Master Ignacio of the Antivan Crows. Always giving me interesting biographies to read and misplacing his pouch/valuables when I inform him of some tragic news... and his funny accent - I actually like him more than Duncan... @.@

I liked Anders from 'Awakenings'. He killed a templar while escaping from the Mage's Prison. Oh wait, I meant "Mage's Tower". His comment about wondering whether or not Andraste had a nice body was great. Anders also asked an interesting question about the Grey Wardens, wondering if he was basically just transfered from one prison to another. My dialog with him indicated that he could leave after the war is over, and this seems to be common throughout Warden history. Technically, you're a Warden for life, but when a blight or a darkspawn threat is over, they tend to have extended leaves of absence. Of course, in the end, they all end up in the Deep Roads. BioWare did a good job with their portrayal of the templars - they could be good and useful in times of lawlessness, but they are still essentially armed religious fanatics. This is true of the real templars in Medieval history. I disagreed with Anders only once, when he thought that defeating the blood mage in the marsh was a bad idea. This was a blood mage that victimized the innocent, and was worthy of being struck down.

Sten.
His one word answers were unexpected and would crack me up sometimes
If there were a least favorite for me it would be Leliana. Her back story is cool but she is such a preacher to her god Andraste and her personality was just "mehhhh". In terms of LI, i'd choose Leli over Morri

Favorite.....hmmm
I liked Dog but thought he deserved more attention.
Sten was Funny once you understood his humour.
But my favorite has to be Ohgren and Zevran for the same reasons. They are funny characters and entertaining.

easily Leliana. from the first time you meet her, it's clear that there's more to her than just being a priestess who can fight, and gradually learning more about her personality and history throughout the first playthrough really felt like getting to know a real person. throw in the fact that she's incredibly cute (both in appearance and personality), has an exotic accent and most of all is a redhead and she's irresistible

Leliana - especially after she once said "My bruises form a pretty pattern!" after combat. That's just hilarious. Deadly, neck-deep in death and she's still a girlie-girl. Haha.
I also like Kitty.

Truthfully, I like them all, but if someone put a gun to my head and forced me to pick a favorite, then in DA:O it'd be Zevran. In Awakenings, it'd be Nathanial. I truly like them all and use all of them in my parties. Maker bless her, I even like Morrigan. But, there's just something about someone who's tried to kill you that just speaks to my heart.
"Let me explain. No, there's no time. Let me sum up." (one bag of cybercookies if you catch the reference)
Being a somewhat *cougholdercough* woman, I love Zev's complexity. I romanced Alistair my first two or three playthroughs and hardly used Zevran. Then, I started reading more about him on the forums, romanced him with my next character and have never looked back. Now, even if I don't romance him, he's often a member of my party. Zevran is a cold-blooded assasin, and I don't forget that, but it's that contrast with his profession and who he is in his depths that I find so appealing. Alistair is WYSIWYG; he's sweet, boyish and endearing. Zevran is wicked, experienced and complex. Alistair is like a really good beer. Zevran is a fine wine. In my youth, I would have married an Alistair. Now, I'd live with a Zevran.
Nathanial is different. Frankly, I fell in love with his voice. I've heard it said that men fall in love with their eyes, and women fall in love with their ears. I have to admit it's been true for me. (yet another reason I love Zev) Although Nate isn't as fully fleshed out as Zevran, again it's his complexity that I find appealing. We get to watch him grow and change in Awakening. Plus, I'm a sucker for tall, dark and handsome. I'd love to see more of Nate; Awakening only whet my appetite.
