Bioware, you need to make one more patch to make the game you made near-perfect. 1.04 fixed a lot, but not enough. There are still a lot of issues hanging.

What 1.05 must have is:


General:
  • Problem with "Spirits or Arcane Warriors using fade shroud" that causes them to look weird (you can see their eyeballs and inner jaw).
  • Bow Dexterity fix
  • Crossbow fix
Origins:
  • Arl of Denerim Estate glitch which caused the guard armor to be unremovable.
  • Warden commander set from warden's keep DLC do not give any set bonus.
  • No reward is received for completing the Shaper's Life, bringing the tracing of the Golem Memorial.
  • Orphanage mission in the alienage having the door locked and impeeding progress.
  • Codex keeps saying Arlessa Isolde sacrifices herself to save Connor even though I went to the mages to get help.
  • Sometimes at the end of "Return to Ostagar" DLC, the quest log is not
    updating on the last object on the quest, forcing you to re-load.
Awakening:
[*]The Blackblade tunic not being available (seriously this is like the best rouge armor and you can't even get the whole set) [*]Armor Texture glitches fixes related to Warden's Keep[*]If we want to conscipt everyone, we have to recruit Justice last, othwise Sigrun or Valena can't join the wardens. Allow the option to conscript  the missing warden if we didn't do a righteous path last.
[*]Accepting the quest Law and Order in Amaranthine will eliminate your ability to initiate Sigrun's personal quest. A dwarven woman standing at the bottomof the steps leading up to the tavern will no longer spawn if this  quest has been accepted. If you picked up both Law and Order and Smuggler's Run and decide to side with the smugglers instead, it will cancel the bug out.
[*]The infamous Silverite Mine glitch.

My bows seem to work fine... which is odd.



- It is not necessarily a bug, but I would really like to see the quest Jowan's Intention fixed.

- Ever since patch 1.03 I've been having a weird graphical issue in the Gauntlet where the spirits' textures seem disjointed or their swords float oddly.

It's not just spirits, it's ghosts and ghost like entities, even arcane warriors who are using the fade trick. They look like the movie hollow men, I'll put that.

Oh and Bows work fine, it's just that they don't get the dexterity based damage and for the most part makes it difficult for archers.

The only ones I've seen it on are the ones in the Gauntlet and only after patch 1.03. That's my experience. I'm not sure on bows. My rogue was almost pure dex, and she did a lot of damage with her bow, but if it's broken for some people then it's broken.

If you ever observe any Arcane Warriors during cut-scenes, it's similar to the gauntlet. The fade shroud gives them the same skin as those spirits in the gaunlet.

I'm sorry, I just don't want to look like I'm hijacking this thread. Or posting problems that might not affect the 360 version. This forum is just annoying because people never reply, even if they know, so it's hard to tell at this stage if it affects the 360 version, so I thought i'd show you this..

Here is the post I did if you can't be bothered looking at the thread.

Has the Orphanage quest bug been fixed yet?

It occurs when you
progress through the quest where you purge the Orphanage, with the blind
NPC, "Otto" (I think his name is Otto anyway). I reach a room with a
Chest in it, a bed, and there is a door behind me, and a door on the
other side to go through. A fight occurs in this room.

-My autosave is within this same room, it is identical to my save.
-When I converse with Otto after winning, he says what he has to say as scripted, and then both doors lock indefinitely.
-I
have no rogue/lockpicker in my party so I cannot retrieve items from
the locked chest. When I talk to him again, he just chatters nothing
important.
-I have looted all of the objects off corpses in the room (The locked chest in the room cannot be opened).
-Waiting for him to reset doesn't work either, I left the game on for 24 hours and tried again and he still didn't reset.

-I even attack the NPCs with long range AOE magic in the next area and
they come to the door (Without entering my room), and my meleer's can
hit them through the door (and the enemies can hit the melee), but even
when they are dead, the doors don't unlock.
-I have tried running around the outside edges of the room, as someone has suggested in another forum, which doesn't work.

Current party:

Myself (Specialist Warrior)
Alistair
Wynne
Ohgren

and NPC: Ser Otto.

MY PS3 is the PAL version, is a 120GB slim, and I have the most up to date PS3 OS version. And DA:O is patched to 1.04.

DLC attached to my game:
Blood Dragon Armor - Redeem code (PAL)
Stone Prisoner - Unplayed as of yet - Redeem code (PAL)
DS Chronicles - PSN PAL Download.
Holiday DLC - PSN PAL Download.

I
haven't gone to play it yet because there is no point if no one can
confirm it can be fixed as of recently - I have put 120 hours into the
game, and investing into a new game to do all I have done isn't possible
due to my job commitments. I might as well sell my copy if this never
gets fixed, which is a pity.

With that said, I haven't played my
Dragon Age: Origins save since the game was patched for DS Chronicles
because of this problem I have.

If this hasn't been fixed, is it possible to submit my save for technical review?

That bug mentioned by the PS3 guy affected my first playthrough of Origns. This was onoy days after release so it may have been fixed for us.



I simply reloaded and the glitch did not trouble me again.

For me, the only thing I would like fixed is the Arcane Warrior Fade Shroud glitch. It's really weird to be playing the game, looking through my Warden's eye sockets and mouth. For all I know though, it's not something that can be fixed in a patch.



1.04 was a good patch I feel.

- Shale's gifts (remarkable gemstones) do not give adequate approval, a minor thing really, but worth noting.

Just a tip: Sort out the bugs in each category. Right now, it's a wall of text Image IPB It makes it easier to read. Not sure about the others?

I appreciate you acknowledged my problem existed. And I'm jealous that it has worked for you - I seem to have fallen on my own sword =p

Haha, happened all the time in WoW for the 5 years I played it. It isn't really that big a deal honestly. Shiv happens.
