installed fine, everything seems to work. copied over my old save files from a WinXP installation, and when I take my party to an area transition so the world map should come up, the game crashes every time.
Don't have a graphic card, using intel graphics chipset - not great but seems to work in general.
Tried reinstalling to C:\\blackisle\\baldursgate, tried running as administrator, emulating WinXP sp3
No luck,
any ideas what's going wrong? Thank for any advice

Have you tried installing into C:/documents/?
You did install the patches again? after you've installed Baldur's Gate.
I still think you'll need to d this, even if you have the new(er) version.
Can you install in Vista as an admin?
