so, i have been playing DAO/and awakening on the PC and have all my account stuff set up for PC and i have special pre order items that show up fine in my DLC of the PC version.
well today i bought DAO for the 360, yeah i love it that much. and i find out that because i have an SBC/at&t ISP email for my PC version, it isnt linked with the 360 because the 360 MUST have a microsoft e-mail ID like @msn.com etc...
so through EA and @MSN.com and DA on my 360 its all linked. BUT, i have all these cool/special items and my main account through an sbcglobal ISP account. i have DAO/awakening AND ME1&2 for PC tied to this acct. its my main account. is there any way to merge my accounts here so i can get y special DL items? or if i use my codes i got with the 360 DAO will it mess anything up?
anyways, if theres a mod here i would really appreciate some help or info. if i could merge accounts, i would.
thanks in advance to anyone who has any info, cheers.
please help, no prob linking accounts, but have 2 diff accts...

also, i guess i should be looking to EA to merge accounts right? i guess that would be where it would have to happen? and no matter what happens i guess i should use my codes now because whether EA merges or not, the codes will have to be used with this linked acct. right? and if they can merge the codes/content will just go along for the ride correct?
cheers.
cheers.

I had a similar problem -
I have DAO on PS3, and wanted my Blood Dragon Armor to work on my 360 copy of ME2. My online tags were exactly the same for 360 and PS3, and I couldn't link my emails into one account properly because my emails for my PS3 ID and 360 Tag were different. I did a Live chat to an EA consultant, and he fixed it for me.
Have you had a look at your Social Network profile (This page one) and clicked on "Your registered game promotions"? It should show something like this:
Title / Game / Platform / Download
Blood Dragon Armor Mass Effect 2 Xbox 360 More Info
Blood Dragon Armor Mass Effect 2 PC/Mac Download
Blood Dragon Armor Dragon Age: Origins PS3 More Info
Because I don't have ME2 on PC, its still downloadable through my current assigned tag I'm using right now. If it says Download instead of More Info it means you can get it.
Have a look, and see if you're eligible first for your DLC before speaking to an EA consultant in Live Chat.
Thats what I did anyway.

yeah thanks for taking the time to write all that Xan. as for my main account (not this one) it shows a full page of promotions. i have free DLC for thew PS3 and 360 (about 4 each for pre-ordering) and a bunch for ME2 on PC.
now heres the deal, i made this account and attached it to an newer EA account when i bought DAO on PC on the launch day. then today i found out about peoples issues with jabing DA on multiple systems and went to check things out at EA.
well i finally found somewhere on the EA site while searching for help, a line that said log in with your MS live ID account and then it will link to your xbox gamertag. so i used my old @msn.com login and sure enough it worked and there it showed "GAMERTAG Xbox live account" but nothing else, because i used my SBC/AT&T main email for DA and ME2 when i bought them. so all these bonus items and DLC are tied to a different account and to get them merged i think i have to find a way to merge all accounts at once, like 5 total.
its a mess, here it is
XBOX DAO- newest, bought today, acct login for game and EA site- blahblah@msn.com (because its a microsoft live ID) and i came here to bioware community site to log in with this same acct info and it auto linked the gamertag, because when i go to the "your registered game promotions) at the top it says
"Email Address: blahblah@msn.com
Xbox Gamertag(s): rocknerd
PSN Name(s): None"
and below it shows NO content at all.
but when i log in with my older DAO and ME1&2 PC account it shows-
"Email Address: blahblah@sbcglobal.net
Xbox Gamertag(s): None <<<<- (take note here)
PSN Name(s): lungbrace"

i hope that made some sense. do you think theres any way to link these two together? is it safe to start playing and use my redeemable codes from inside the new boxed DAO now? or will they get messed up if the accounts are merged?
i just want to play for a bit... (sniff...BAWL!!!)
but yeah, hopwe you can make some sense of that stuff. thanks again Xan, cheers.

Makes sense to me, and you're welcome.
What I reckon you do is try this:
It's a crazy long link, but hopefully it'll guide you to how to speak to a Live consultant.
http://support.ea.co...li=&p_topview=1
If the link didn't take you to (below):
QUESTION
How do I find the option to Live Chat with a support agent on this help site for Technical Support or other issues?
Then:
Just go to the EA Support page (Or Google it if you don't know where to find it) and then type "Live Chat" in the search box, and it should be your top result.
Then, explain what you've told me to a live consultant that you get connected to. Just try and clarify, and simplify your problem a lot more for them. (I know, must sound like I'm labeling them as simpletons, but they're actually useful).
Good luck.

thanks again Xan this is Lungbrace, (the OP) this is my main account i am trying to get it linked to. i actually deleted the other bio account and changed all e-mails in this order-
xbox live (from old ass @msn.com to @sbcglobal.net) -> EA.com -> from @msn to SBCglobal.net) and then i logged in here and as soon as i got here it actually said at the bottom in a white box that this was the EA account link to be linked to the bio sites account and all i had to do was enter my email info, pass etc. and it was all there i just had to retype one of the 2 pass boxes. i was so excited then as i hit save it said "this e-mail has already been used, please try and select another).
so basically, theres an issue with the EA site and unfortunately i linked my gamertag alias to the account EA made automatically for me before i realised i should have changed my old xbox live email to the email i use for everything now LIKE the biosite that i have ME 1&2 as well as DAO/awakening PC attached to.
so is it too late? i think it all rests on if the EA guy can delete the new account that was just made for DAO-360 so that it can do all the right steps in order since the e-mail works now.
if i had found out first that i shouldnt link my gamertag to the account EA auto made for me, i would be having NO issues right now. man, what a pain for EA to set this game up like this. what a mess using 3 different accounts/websites to register DLC / game accounts for DA.
man... long lame night. total waste for me, spent 5 hours trying to fix this. i cant play games till every situation is smoother out, lol. but F it.
i'm logged in now and going to play a bit for now and tomorrow i will check out EA for help. again thanks for your wisdom Xan. appreciate your time and thanks for the link...
now BACK TO BALDUR'S GATE for you pal!!!

Thanks for the reply. Lungbrace. That really sucks to hear, and yes it's a messed up system that confuses itself to hell. You need to be so careful or you'll screw yourself over. >_<
Did you give the Live Chat a try? As an EA Live Consultant should just honor you with content you are entitled to without deleting any emails.
ps Baldurs Gate ftw!!

hey Xan, i e-mailed EA and surprisingly when i awoke the next day i had an e-mail already sitting in wait stating that the situation was FIXED!?!?! that almost never happens. the EA fellah merged my goof ups on the EA site and now its all tied together and i get my DLC and all my games under one nice tidy bio account. very nice of the guy.
again, thanks for the help, cheers Xan!!!
