I made 2 threads about this and they both faded into obscurity
But I hope so!

As a Mac user, I'd love to play it natively and avoid the crashes that plague the game on my husband's beastly gaming rig. But I don't want to have to wait months later than everybody else. Wish they would do what Blizzard does and develop everything concurrently.
Never got to play the Mac native DA:O either, because my husband assumed that there wasn't one. By the time I found out, we'd already bought it for PS3 and PC.

For what it is worth go to the link below:
http://www.walmart.c...-Games/15540505
It shows a picture of DAII as a Win/Mac release from EA. EA has done this before. Maybe it's true. It would be nice if EA would toot the Mac horn when they are going to do this since so many Mac owners hear nothing.

If they actually wasted time on porting to Mac instead of fixing bugs and creating DLC content for the real audience: PC, Xbox360, PS3, then I'm gonna be in a real ****ing bad mood.

Ah yes, "video games", the interactive programs which make you spend time and have fun. We've dismissed that claim.
Actually Microsoft dismissed that claim for them by Stealing them Bungie and Halo...

Amazon shows a Win/Mac box as well but does not mention the Mac version at all.

According to Chris Priestly, Dragon Age II is indeed coming out for Mac.
Don't know if it will be out simultaneously with the PC/console versions, but at least it's on the table.

Actually, the PC disk will have both Windows and MacOS X.
The Mac version will require 10.6.6 and "will play faster than Origins".

Agreed, those who scoff at gaming on a mac have never tried and don't realize what they are missing, all the better for us, I guess.
