I'd rather have Harbinger in DA2, that would be a step up from the Archdemon.
Even Harbinger has more depth and substance to him than the archdemon.

I could see a crossover. For all you know, "The Maker" is just an AI or Reaper and magic is just biotics or nanites taking a all-present view. I see this as highly plausable, especially since there are no gods and Dwarves and Elves look a little more humanoid than we find in other FRPGs.
I hate it when people start to taking topics like these seriously.

All you negative people, sheesh. Think of the possibilities! Quarian broodmothers, for example.
And I always pictured Quarians looking similar to the Mother.

Oh, and you forgot the conspiracy theory point about the moon in Thedas being the same as a couple of moons in the skies of planets of ME 1. So maybe...across the sea...Shepard is riding around in the Mako blasting Qunari with a mass driver.

Harbinger - We are your genetic destiny!
Hawke - Die foul Demon! - Jumps with two handed sword striking downward

Has nothing to do with the topic at hand, I've always pondered a ME/DA crossover, and considered it would make sense.
There's also the trope that does occur when a fantasy planet ends up being part of an SF empire. I could see Bioware going with that. Especially since that whole Maker/Golden City thing just begs for some twist.
And it would be kind of amusing to see the heads of the people worried about SF corrupting their "pure fantasy" game explode.

The Archdemon wasn't the main antagonist of the game, though: that was Loghain.

I for one found the Archdemon unnessisary.Kaiser Shepard wrote...

Harbenger would be cool though, see him coming from the sky, during a storm, land on a city, desimating it. Shooting lazers and stuff from it's tenticals as it annihilates the country side.
And all you have is a sword.

Here is the proof that Dragon Age and Mass Effect can co-exist:
Lyrium = Element Zero
I am certain that Thedas is located on a part of a universe which hasn't been discovered by any sentient species yet.
BioWare, I want some crossover. Not an overt one, but just one which tells us that both Dragon Age and Mass Effect are in the same universe.

Then should have left the darkspawn out of the game entirely.
