I think we should take this in an entirely different direction. That is to say, I think there should be some DLC released for DA2, similar to the Superman cut-scene that we got in DA:O, where a Chinese, a Russian, a German and an American spaceship have crash-landed on an invading Qunari legion, scattering their numbers. This is where our protagonist can walk in on an argument between the astronauts as to who landed there first, waving their hands, and prying each others flags from the ground.

And then they die because Thedas for some reason doesn't use oxygen.

Well, my original concept had them still wearing their space-suits...

But, you know, it could further into a bout of fisty-cuffs, where they take off their helmets and roll up their multi-million dollar sleeves... AND THEN dying because, for some reason, Thedas does not require oxygen*.

*Perhaps one of the staff will canonize the use of oxygen.

I try not to be ashamed OR blindly proud of my nationality.

And I try to have fun with it because where you come from doesn't mean a tenth as much as what you plan to do and who you are.

You should be grateful, I'm the one who goes out there to tame polar bears with my hockey stick. I live off maple syrup and whale blubber when marching through the harsh tundra, while you're sitting at home living in comfort with your fancy baby seal cub skin sheets.

Why don't you say eh after every sentence?

Surely you can't believe that people on this message board are representative of Americans at large. I believe that that people (Americans) on here are, in general, of a different breed, and more open minded than the typical American.

I think what we're saying is there's no such thing as a "typical" American.

Closed-minded, overweight, overly proud, overly protective, overzealous people. People that forgot the words united we stand, divided we fall and still choose to implode the country upon itself with all the hate and lack of brotherhood with a focus on status rather than who they really are.
Oh my god! The dwarves match this description perfectly, replacing the overzealous behavior with a god with an overzealous worship of deceased dwarves

What you European

Originally, I was going to make it a firefly reference, and stick with America and China, but I ended up taking the race-stance, as a result, I felt that adding in too many cultures would seem a bit heavy-handed, and as a result, took an example from the more prominent astro-reaching nations.

Sounds luxurious.

Being in a state that borders Canada, I have to forage for berries, fish for Salmon, and fend off Grizzly bears with a pocket knife. Been doing it for years. Uphill both ways.

Tim Horton's has been invaded by the Starbucks crowd, it's contested territory that no polar bear is foolish enough to travel near.

You should tame a Grizzly to do all that and more.

Annoyed would be a better word, but if you were kidding then fine. The internet has long since ceased being "serious business" to me. You have to realize though that over the internet it's impossible to tell if you are kidding when you say things that lots of other people say seriously.

Please no special favors. I don't see the Firefly reference, though it's been a while since I've watched my collection.

Already did it, and I was saying that I was *thinking about using a firefly reference*. Because of funding, only the Americans and Chinese could afford the space programs needed for that kind of interstellar travel. That's the reason that they speak a mixture of Chinese and English (though mostly English).

Ah yes I see, though to correct you, the Chinese are now the only ones able to fund a space program. We ride Russian tubes to the INSS these days.

Sorry about that then. I happen to live in America as well
