Don't know about 'officially', but I played it with Kaedrin's installed (forgot to get rid of it) and experienced no problems, though I didn't use any of the classes obviously (too low level, plus playing a single class wiz anyway). 

Was a really good mod, btw. Can't wait for part 2 :0)


Glad you liked it.  If you get a chance, don't forget to vote.  This one took about 6 months, so that is probably the timeframe for the second.

I did not set it up to work with Kaedrin's.  This is my first module and I am still new to modding so I don't actually know how to make sure Kaedrin's works with it.  If there is a tutorial I would certainly look into it.


I've been looking for this information and it's a little tough to find.  He has instructions for setting up for hak pak use.  But, I'm not sure what has to be done for override use.  You would have to email him.  I'm sure he would be happy to help a fellow modder.  He typically does.

Once I get a little more feedback, I will post the first update. There are a few bugs which have been mentioned which I have fixed. I am waiting because if there are any more, I want to get as many as possible in one go.

I have fixed all reported bugs and a few more that I found. I will wait a little longer and then release the update.



I looked into Kaedrin's PrC and Spell package. For level 1-4, there are no classes and only one spell which are applicable, so I will not include support in this module. I intend to support it in the next one which should take the player to level 8-10ish.

I was kind of interested in asking, but did you ever consider doing one for tanks(rangers,paladins, fighters) and rogues??

Short answer: I don't know.



After I finish the Wizard's Apprentice series, I have a few other ideas which are jostling about. I was considering making my next project open to all classes, however I do enjoy rogues and feel that sometimes general modules do not showcase them as well as I may wish. So I may make a general module with some extras to showcase rogues or I may make s rogue specific module.



In the meantime, if you haven't already, check out Last of the Danaan, it is an excellent Ranger mod.

It's about time someone made a module where a rogue can be plyed as a rogue and not just a dex fighter.


I have wanted to do this for a long time (from the start realy) but it takes better scripting skills and experience with the toolset than I had. These dark days of waiting. will be a rogue mod, story led with a sand box element your character must infitrate one of the clubs that operate in the towns poor area and find out who is realy running the town. The mod will be about information gathering, spying etc and will require the character to use rogue skills and tools (grapple, crowbar etc) to achieve objectives.

There will be a chance to make money along the way of course and for a rogue it should all be simple, if it were not for this bloody woman who keeps appearing in your room at night insisting that you are the only person who can help her.

First I need to finish The Last Days of the Raven so we are still 12 months away from These dark days, I hope it is worth the wait.

I am kicking myself.  You are the second person to ask that.  I had originally though about making the access to the secret fungant room accessible with a reduce person spell, but opted for the underwater passage. 

I am planning on incorporating more puzzles with spell solutions in Wizard's Apprentice II.

I don't like playing wizards much, but, stuff like this makes me want to play one, so do spells from the Spell Compendium.
