Also - this should be posted in the Mac Support forums, but I'm told "You do not meet the requirements to post in this forum", but I can't see what those requirements are, or how I get to them.
Help please.

It's now been half a day since you asked your question, and your profile remains unchanged, so it must not have been a particularly important question to you.

Your profile is blocked from posting there (here, now, with the thread having been moved since I initially answered), since you never changed the profile to reflect any game ownership; as shown right under your forum picture, where you have nothing now. Since I consider anything from Apple to be overhyped, overestimated, and overpriced, I haven't owned anything they've produced for thirty years, not since their Apple ][, so I could be wrong, but for the owner of a proper gaming X86 PC, you just uninstall the game, then stop short before reinstalling any patch beyond 1.02A

If you are going to be a rude jack-ass, don't bother posting here. Why are you posting in the Mac forum anyway

Hi all - I've just been prompted to upgrade my Dragon Age on Mac, which I accepted, and been upgraded to ver. 1.03.11253.4152(1). However now when I start the launcher, and launch, the app crashes, every time. Nothing has changed on my Mac (Snow Leopard 10.6.4) - and the crashes started as soon as I updated. How do I revert back to the older version?

I wish I could help more but I'm unsure why your sys is crashing after the install of v1.03, I have not had this experience myself. Have you checked your system specs and was it working fine before the install?

Anyway, lets ignore the impudent trolls shall we?
urlordcov, I'm guessing you might need to register your game on the sidebar to the left under "My Games".
As for the crashing, you should not have to revert back to the previous version. Go to Home/Library/Preferences and move the "Dragon Age Origins Preferences" folder to the desktop and relaunch the game. Let us know if it starts up. If it doesn't you might have to reinstall the game from scratch and run the 1.0.3 updater again. Any saved games you have are in Home/Documents/Bioware, so move that folder to the desktop before you reinstall, then move it back later. That should preserve your characters and saves.
