I have had this problem since I got the game on its release day. It asks for a guardian's email even though I am not using a child account, and when I do put in an email it just says, "Communication with the Mass Effect 2 server was interrupted or has timed out. Please try again later." Is there anyway to fix this? I suspect no.

go to xbox system settings and check the time. manually set the time for your current time (you might find the time is off) and try the game again. I had a similar problem (nothing about guardian email but with servers connecting) with EA servers on ME2, DA:O and NHL10 and PHub88 mentioned this quick fix on a forum and it worked. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, the guardian email message still appears and the server still does not connect. On a slightly related note, xbox marketplace shows Kasumi - Stolen Memory as purchased, even though I know I never have.
