I'm currently working on my second play-through though this time around, I chose to play a more "wild" female elf.  So... when the option came up to "show" cammen what he's missing, I figured, "eh, this should be interesting."

If you haven't tried this little plot twist out, it's really funny!  I love how pissed off everyone is at you for doing that to this stupid little elfling.  Oh, and use the option when talking to GF that he was yelling her name when you were... well, you'll see.

Bioware has a great sense of humor!
