First off, why do people even bother to post things like this?Not only is it pointless, it just isn't worth debating about. It just takes up space in the forum. Not only that, its just another thread moderators have to worry about checking for spam. To Anti Talimancers, you are no better than the talimancers if you continue to post hate. Its no better than the spam they did in the tali thread. Be the better side and just ignore anything you feel as "pro tali". Moderators will eventually lock the thread anyway. If you hate tali, that's fine. But you dont need to post it 20 times. I think the other side gets your feelings by now. So lets please act like adults and just this madness. It gets quite old after awhile seeing threads like this and the posts that follow them.

Well, at first I think it was just a discussion thread, I guess about Quarians suits and how they work or something, but now its turning into another Tali support/general discussion thread, it will either be locked or just abandoned by tomorrow or sooner. And you say it's not worth debating...well...its a game...nothing about a game is really  *worth* debating, its just debated because people (such as me) have nothing to do in their spare time

Yeah, it's such a shocker that a cadre of teens and tweens are obsessed with Tali. Absolutely shockingly original, it is. Just remember kids, practice safe sex and don't do drugs, mmmkay?

second: every female character on Mass Effect was designed to make me feel "all funny down there" not just Tali

fourth: Originality has nothing to do with what you like and don't like.

Naw, troll isn't getting testy. Troll is getting unoriginal and lame. Give the troll bait in the form of "Tali is popular" and the troll responds accordingly and predictably by pointing out fads. It's like herding sheep.

Anything with a following attracts them. It has nothing to do with dislike of a character or the topic and everything to do with like of trolling. They like that Tali is popular. Otherwise they couldn't troll half so effectively because no one would be paying attention. Tali is incidental to the whole thing.

That's the whole point.  They are in it for the trolling and nothing else.  Contending with them is what they want.

I know, but I haven't been accepted into the clan yet so this is something to do in my spare time

The Macarena is an old reference, it was a dance that was popular before you were born. It was also really, really bad. Two and A Half Men is a sitcom that is apparently popular, but which sucks nonetheless. Laugh tracks are SO last century.

Of course every female character was designed to make you males pitch pup-tents. Selling games is a business, after all, and the penis is a very convenient marketing handle. But sweet, shy, 'nerdy' Tali was made to appeal to the youngest males in the demographic breakdown. Miranda is too old and b¡tchy to appeal to all but the MILF-lovin' kids your age, and Jack is too aggressive, she's aimed at twentysomethings and older types. Tali's mix of passivity, shyness, facelessness and dat ass are catnip to young boys who are just discovering that girls don't actually have cooties. I suppose it wouldn't bother me, except I hate kids, and cross-marketing initiatives aimed at kids (Jar Jar Binks, anyone?). Especially when it pollutes an otherwise awesome M for Mature game experience. At least Phantom Menace sucked regardless of Jar Jar and Little Orphan Anakin.

First: being straight, I have never gotten aroused playing Mass Effect (or any other game for that matter =/)
