 I'm having trouble when i go to install my Kotor

I installed it a long time ago but couldnt get it to work properly with Win 7
I go to uninstall it now and the add/remove panel still shows Kotor after it says it finished uninstalling. I went through my computer and deleted everything that had kotor or bioware in the file name. So now when i search for them nothing comes up.

I recently came across some ways to fix it so it will run on Win 7 now and want to reinstall my Kotor.
But now everytime i put the disk in and click install or run the set-up file on the disk the install sheild box starts to prepare but then closes and another one comes up saying do you want to uninstall Kotor and the only options there are, are yes and cancel
