ME1 = Femshep, no question whatsoever.

ME2 = I'm on the fence.

Not this again....

Anyway, for the sake of it: MaleShep, both games.

I think this too, in ME1 femShep own it all.

In ME2 Meer work showed a huge improvement, it's very good.

In ME1, Femshep ruled!

In ME2, both were on par but I have a preference for playing female heroes so.....

I also grudgingly had to admit (because I'm a Jennifer Hale fan) that she did a worse job in ME2 than in 1.  She was too over-the-top, or something...I don't know.

I didn't mean to sound hostile or anything, but this has been discussed multiple times. And while it usually starts out fine, eventually someone has to insult something else and it devolves into flaming. As long as this stays positive I see nothing wrong with it.

Yes, this has definitely been done several times, but I hope it can be a reasonable discussion this time, as I feel it's a worthwhile topic.

You can blame the director, he who is responsible for Jennifer acting like that. ;)

Did the directors change from one game to the other, or is it the same person?

Yes I am a femshep fan, and good luck on the thread but as stated above they usually do turn to s**t quickly.

I prefer the male Shepard, but I think Mark Meer is much better in ME2 than he was in ME1. I like Jennifer Hale's work, normally, but with Shepard it sometimes feels like she's trying too hard, putting too much into it.

Jennifer Hale is evil and eats live puppies.

I like to do my part.

But as someone who prefers to play his own gender in video games, I'm very glad male Shep improved so much, regardless of who is better.

Anyways FemShep's the best.

Femshep for having fewer flat reads. While maleshep is much better than he was in ME1 , every time i  talk to the merc recruiter and hear him say "you could say that" in a way that seems totally unrelated to the question asked, it makes me cringe.

The voice-over director for both games was Caroline Livingstone (and Dragon Age: Origins, BTW).

Everybody knows MaleShep has the superior voice acting. I find FemShep rather creepy.

Maybe those of you who don't like MaleShep's voice acting simply aren't playing him properly. You have to be badass.
