I can see that it would have killed Loghain's doubts, but I think he would still feel like he didn't do enough to either keep Cailan from becoming an idiot or doing enough to save him. It's more pain for what Maric lost than for what Cailan deserved, if that makes sense. And I suppose, since RtO will have to be modded, that a player just wouldn't download the mod if they knew it was turned into Loghain's personal quest. Or be wise enough to wait until Loghain was in your party.KnightofPhoenix wrote...
Cailan's revealed plans, I think, killed whatever doubts Loghain may have had. I am sure he is not happy or pleased with his death, but I can't see him being that sad after RtO. And yes you're right, RtO can't be used.
Easy answer is not to download the mod unless you want it to be a gift, but yes, that is a problem.About Maric's sword as gift. That means one cannot use it before they spare Loghain. And can never use it if they kill him. Could be problematic.
What would Loghain gain from it though? I see retaking Highever as a personal quest for the Cousland, not necessarily anything that helps Loghain. And yes Castle Cousland was my inspiration.
