That does not mean that it's in the Wardens best interest to go along with this but I can't blame Anora for not wanting you to tattle on her to Cauthrien.
This was really the only reason I argued it, because I think that there can be a reason to 'betray' Anora that isn't just the warden being stupid or insensitive or whatever. It may not be in Anora's best interest, obviously, but it might be in the Warden's (and Anora's, given what you know) to try, imo.

And you really have yourself to blame at that point, you backed her into a corner when she warned you not to a few seconds ago.
Only when Cauthrien backs the Warden into a corner. You are led to assume that your interests and Anora's are the same (I'm reminded of the whole alliance discussion earlier) (and excepting that it is very obviously a trap set by someone), but you quickly find out that they are not. I'm not saying that I don't understand why Anora did it (after the fact) ... just that the Warden is not necessarily just being a stupid @ss by revealing her. At the time, it can seem to be in both their interests for Anora to try to speak up. Especially if your reasoning is 1) no surrender 2) try to talk your way out of it 3) if all else fails, fight

I never surrender for the reasons I stated in an earlier post. It's illogical to think you will be shown mercy.
Agreed.
I wish we didn't have to kill Cauthrien, since her convo at the Landsmeet chamber is awesome, but to hell with it.
Or you can choose to fight and then (accidently or on purpose) lose, which means you don't have to surrender, and Cauthrien lives! Yay!

As for Ft Drakon, if one thinks they can't beat Cauthrien's small army, I'm not sure how one would think they'd be able to escape from whatever prison she put you in, assuming that you would also be heavily guarded (which you're not and that makes no sense, but is besides the point).
