Yea, just as I thought, noble clothes don't suit him. Does anyone feel that Loghain is awesome precisely because of his commoner origin? I think that's a major part of his appeal.

He's led a hard life and doesn't take the BS that the nobles throw at him. I just can't picture him if he would've been born a noble.

I just think they should be darker.  Black, baby.  As I pictured him in my last chapter.    I think he could look pretty sexy that way, but the clown pants don't suit anyone, let's be honest.

I don't have access to the toolset right now, but I remembered that Loghain was wearing noble clothes in one of Charsen's wedding mods. Blue doesn't look too bad (though he might be wearing yellow pants...) 

Off topic question, but do you know if Charsen is still working on that mod?

I don't know. He mentioned that someone else "took over" weddings, and I got the impression he wasn't working on his any more.

Fereldan noble clothing is bloody awful. Male and female. I picture Loghain in a pair of snug-fitting britches, knee boots and a plain shirt (black, of course). I can't see him agreeing to wear embroidered clown pants for a minute.

As for the River Dane armour, I'd imagine Loghain would have several sets of armour - after all, armour needs repairing every so often so having just the one set would be folly.

Actually it is not that much different from the noble clothes it is just in darker colours, and the added pieces of armour, scabbard and the cloak.

After I wrote about a Gwaren cloak, someone was going to try to make it in the toolset??  Not sure if that's possible.  BW is probably against that sort of garment because the movement is tricky?

Yea, I'm working on the cloak not on the toolset though need to model it first, set the bones and all that stuff. And the model is not like that covering his arm, though I like it better...unless I make the animation of him pulling that back over his shoulder, but not sure how to call the animation into the game before fighting, running or any other broad movement... have to think about it....

Come on, that dude is HAWT.  If only we had actually met him in the game.  I wrote about him in my story The Wolf At the Edge of the Camp.  He's kind of a dick in my story, but I figure he redeems himself later.

Why the Armour of River Dane is soooo shiny? It seems they have gone to far into the hero in shining armour there.
