What I dislike is Cailan's armor. I never like too much gold, looks so vain.

It had to be glorious in order to fit his needs.

Well Cailan made me hate golden armor. Before, I just found it irritating.

lol. . .
I put that armor on Alistair in my last playthrough after doing RtO. . .he lasted about 10 minutes before I couldn't stand to look at him any more. Back he went into his good old Warden Commander set.

I know. Thankfully he gets the armor of Kal Hirol (how?) in Awakening.
Some gold with dominant silver is good.

I picture Calenhad's silver armor as that shiny too. I don't mind silver.

I think it looks good on Maric.

I don't like Loggy in light silvery armor, just doesn't suit him. Thankfully, we have the Winter Forge and/or the universal dye kit to correct that irritaing shiny-happiness of the River Dane armor. He looks far better in darker shades of blue, grey, or even dragonbone.

I don't have access to the toolset right now, but I remembered that Loghain was wearing noble clothes in one of Charsen's wedding mods. Blue doesn't look too bad (though he might be wearing yellow pants...)
Wedding Mod? Like.........finished wedding Mod? Link?

But that said, I always figured the Ostagar armor was for battle and the River Dane armor was for show. And I like that he's not wearing the River Dane armor post-coronation. It's sort of like shedding a skin. He can leave the Hero behind along with the weight it carries. Even the Commander's Plate just looks lighter, although I don't know why.

I don't think they were finished. And I don't know who is working on them now. Sorries.

The only other one in the works I know of is DahliaLynn's, but that is only for Alistair. I'd be sadface if Charsen really has abandoned his for Zevran.Persephone wrote...

Well he keeps the River Dane armor in Awakening. Knowing him, I think he did that on purpose. Nothing like walking the streets of Orlais wearing the River Dane armor lol
Makes sense. But he seems to be very upbeat about it. "Daggers & all", the way he says that,,,,with that hint of a smile........ But nothing beats his phrasing of "I asked Anora, if there were plans for an HEIR........."

I have only seen this in my husband's game (can't bring myself to play Aedan through that long... too burned out) but it seems to show Loghain's dry humor.Persephone wrote...

Yea he sounded so...unusually ok with it.
He isn't happy about it, but he isn't really mad. He even admits that the First Warden is right, Loghain would probably interfer.

I guess he feels his job is done and he can relax a bit. Not that he'll get a lot of time for actual relaxation as a warden recruiter, but mentally, it's a lot less stressful than trying to hold Fereldan together on his own.
Not that I could ever imagine this man actually *relaxing*. After all the stress he's had, complete relaxation would mean certain doom for him. He'd die of boredom! Without any assignment at all I could just picture him running around the palace like a caged tiger, looking for something decent to do. If your whole life has been branded by responsibility, letting it all go at once would be too much.
