Every time you descibe how Loghain and Dog are destroying everything before your mage has a chance to cast a spell, I smile.
That must be a lot of fun, even if you aren't getting to attack anything, hehe.
It is
loads of fun. At first I was a little --I wouldn't say annoyed, but slightly miffed-- that they keep bogarting all my kills. I had not expected my Mage to get many kills compared to my previous Wardens, who were both Rogues and got up in the midst of things for some serious slaughtering while Wynne and Morrigan hung back and were lucky to reach 200 kills for the whole game. However, before Landsmeet my Mage was on a pace to eclipse both of my Rogue PCs for # of kills and I was quite excited to see that happen. I have, by now, beaten my first Warden; she only had 872 kills for the whole game and my Mage had 809 going into Landsmeet, so it would have been tough not to-- but I now have doubts about my chances of beating my CE Rogue's final total of 1069 kills. But watching Loghain and Dog do their thing, I don't mind. Actually I've grown to appreciate the joys of fighting with them a lot more, and a lot faster, than I had thought. I had to leave them in Camp to do the Stone's Lament quest, because I couldn't not bring Shale to that, and I wanted to have her BFF Sten accompany her, and I needed a Rogue for lockpicking. I noticed the difference immediately at the start of our first mob fight. "Really, you guys? Do I have to kill them
all for you? Well, I've already cast Sleep on that bunch over there, so I can't really --okay, hang on, let me run over to your bunch and Mind Blast them for you. Come on, people, stay with the group and don't wander off! I can't be everywhere at once! <_< *grumbles. ..I miss my freaks. . .*"
