No, I can't say I was "nice", but neither was I necessarily "mean".  My DE didn't care much about the whole Cailan thing, was more interested in assasins coming after me, people being imprisoned, the whole "grab power and start a reign of terror" thing.  I asked him about several things, and I think I chose fair dialogue options during our talks.  I saw that he had some remorse for how things turned out, but what I didn't see was regret or accepting responsiblity for his part in getting to the point where things turned out that way.

Of course, that last may simply be my anti-Loghain prejudice.

A suggestion: Next time you have him in camp, pick the "What do you want?" option. His response is one of my all time favorites.

Hey, you're welcome to try --anything that will help. Your version is sharper but now I think the contrast is too high. I had made some changes and added some filters already, which may make your alterations behave differently; if our PMs allow attachments I can send you the original so you can work with a clean slate, if you're interested.

Agreed. That's an awesome bit of dialogue, and shows much more faith in your Warden than you have the opportunity to see otherwise.

It's just a really blurry picture. I literally caught Loghain in mid-shrug --and I have no idea what my PC was doing. The best I could do with it was to try to make it look like a watercolor or something, instead of a really blurry picture. I wouldn't have made the effort except that it has such potential for greatness if we can get it right.

It looks more to me --assuming that it's not a "swoop" move-- like they're sharing a secret. I think if he were simply checking out her cleavage, he'd be a bit more subtle than that. That's more like something that Oghren would do --if he were standing on a chair.
