Being a warden wouldn't stop Loghain to turn on me if he wanted too, the same way Leliana and Wynne do turn on me when I taint the urn of ashes. Yes, Loghain is quite different, he is the only follower that swears to follow you:

Loghain: "All of this can rightly be called my fault. Whether or not you can do better remains to be seen. But if you can make this the end, Warden, I will follow you. I swear it."

I don't know, perhaps I'm too biased, but I think once the duel is over and he yields, he would follow you if it was asked of him without the need to turn him into a warden.

Well Esbatty, he's also a better choice
for the, ah, mature lady. Alistair's half my age - I feel like a cradle
snatcher (plus I'm too old to put up with his angst).

I'm glad I'm not the only one ...:P

The way Simon T. says the "I swear it!".......that URGENCY. I love it!

Because I'm bored and because we're near page 2...

Ellie's doppelganger meets Loghain in Ostagar and breaks the news that they're actually married.

I don't know, Wynne can "wash my Mabari" anytime. I got nothing against may-december romances. Just... Loghain is... Loghain. You know he sleeps in the armor. I bet he'd kiss it too if its previous owner wasn't an Orlesian.Image IPB

Awesome.

Not to open a can of worms but is your Loghain modded? He looks younger/less purple under the eyes. Perhaps the news that he has a lovely young wife who shares his opinion of Cailan has brightened him up some. ;)

@Addai:

Awesome!!! Orlesian fanfiction... haha!!

And I believe that is Loghain with tmp's "less cartoony" Loghain mod. It eliminates the raccoon eyes.

@Persephone:

Agreed on the "I swear it" line. It's probably my favorite Loghain line. The way it's said it just gives me chills.

And because I missed this gem of a post...

Well as I said here all along, I already was a TST Loghain fan.  I just hated what he did in Origins.

But I admit that I've written myself into becoming a fangirl.  *cringes a little*  Don't tease me about it.  I'm still in denial.  LOL

Addai is now a Loghain fangirl... :lol::lol:

Hey... Comics!! when AU clashes with Origins.

well... you know, removing his armor can be considered foreplay then, and we don't mind polishing it too, I mean the armor.:P

The first time I play the game, for the first half I wanted to kick his ass.

But when I finally got my chance and then he says the line "Daughters never grow up, Anora. They remain six years old with pig tails and skinned knees forever."

I was already sympathizing with him beforehand so when he said it...

He reminds me of my father...

I love that Loghain automatically suspects fanfiction of being Orlesian.

It is tmp's "less cartoony" mod, as Zjarcal posted.

@Zjarcal, I said don't tease me!   I'm... sensitive.  And if I post too much in here Alistair will find out!  Image IPB

Indeed. And he is the only one to make such an oath to you. (Of the companions) Coming from him, that's a huge compliment. His whole answer there gives me chills and heartbreak, especially the "I want to lose nothing else." Because he clearly is not talking about his teyrnir or the Regency there. :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

That would require me to actually play, wouldn't it?  Image IPB  My biggest problem is that Ellie is supposed to be a S&S warrior.  I'll never make it out of Korcari Wilds playing her doppelganger that way.  I tried 2H and that is dull as rocks, too.  I'll have to break down and make her DW if I'm going to get anywhere near that gates kiss.

Urgh...

Tis a great thing that he, in his last moments, would rather calm his frantic child than beg for his life. No groveling and begging from Loghain.:(:crying:

And Sarah, I'd like to thank you once again for your in depth reviews on FFnet. I hope my answers to your questions were worthy of them.

As for Modded Loghain:

This is my favorite. Based on TST. Those "icy blue eyes" were mentioned in the book SO often!

He does. But he only MEANS it much, much later. Or not at all, depending on how you treat him.

Remember that excerpt of Ch. 9? This screenshot is how that would go. The Warden and her king.... Worlds are separating them now.

OMG... that quote reminded me of Moira's insinuation of a "spanking" fetish. If Loghain had heard that he'd proly rant about the perversities of the Orlesians.

LOL  I hate to break it to you Esbatty, but in that part she was only asking if Loghain was a wifebeater.  Sorry to disappoint you, my characters lack for imaginative dirty minds because their author is a prude.  Image IPB

An affair against the marriage of Loghain to his true love, Ferelden.

Cleopatra had Egypt, and Caesar was no less creepy for it.
