I've played The Witcher through twice but I never could bring myself to side with the Scoia'tel - downtrodden they might be, but I see them as terrorists and that makes them extremely distasteful to me. The bank raid, not so much, but what they do in Chapter 4 is, for me at least, unforgiveable. I rather enjoyed killing them in the game where I sided with the Order.

But, Yaevinn is so cute.    Yeah, I know.  Looking back, I probably would have tried to take the Witcher path.  Don't like the Order, either.  Talk about up in themselves...I don't think I could ever side with them, not even to get White Rayla's card.

Anyway, Loghain...  I got my Game Informer last night.  Had to go to Gamestop to get it since our subscription hadn't started yet.  I was horrified to walk in and see rows and rows of Shepard.    But they did have a Loghain cover hidden away.

Well siding with the Order is ( the way I see it ) equal to siding with Sieghfried. And Sieghfried is a good guy, despite the fact he is a bit naive.

White Rayla's card is a bit disturbing anyway, it made her look a lot uglier than she was in the game. In my first game I sided with the Order because I liked Siegfried (even if he does look like Mackenzie Crook, heh) but I think the neutral path is my favourite.



I haven't seen Game Informer over here in the UK although I guess you can get it in some of the bigger book shops in the West End (I can get American fitness mags in some places). Glad you found your Loghain cover in the end though! Now you can make kissy faces at it.

My rationale was that witchers are also treated as subhuman. Knights and eternal fire and all that, just did not strike me as Geralt's thing. Nor do I think he would approve of the killing of innocents, but I'm just kind of going along with the game at this point. I would go back and make him take the neutral path, and probably ditch Triss too, but I'm too lazy to re-play. Maybe I will before TW2 comes out.

I knew he's supposed to have some lost love, so it didn't feel right when it popped up saying "Triss is the love of my life." She's nice and all, but...

@CalJones, don't talk about making kissyface at Loghain's GI cover, I get enough heat as it is. LOL I do love that illustration, though. Makes me interested in some of the other characters. I got Assassin's Creed 2 which I'll probably start over Thanksgiving, if I finish The Witcher.

I wonder if wearing armor or not has an impact on how good a kisser someone is.

....or am I being like a girl in thinking about variables that don't necessarily have a corellation with each other?

I would agree but for me the essence of why the Order exists to help, and while there are quite a few bad seeds that is the ultimate essence of it, and Sieghfried does believe in it quite firmly.



A Witcher is after all for helping others, protecting the innocents and so forth.

It's....er....certainly easier to lean into a kiss without plate armor. Being a LARPer, I know this first hand.

The theseus body is quite *ahem*....interesting , but I don't see Loghain that muscular, I think it fits Alistair better.

Heh, indeed they do.

Not sure I like the Theseus model myself.  It's too stocky.
