Yes! I finally found someone in Ferelden who is not fond of the Orlesians (other than Loghain). This is something that has been bothering many of us, especially Phaonica.

There is a female knight in Ostagar that says:
"I have a great respect for the Wardens...unless they are from Orlais"
"King Cailan should not have called on those vile Orlesians for help"
"Ferelden can defeat these things on its own. we do not need Orlesian charity"

I'll be on the lookout for other things.

There is a lot more anti-Orlesian feelings in Awakening.



Especially for my poor Orlesian Warden.

When you ask Bodhan of any rumors, one of them talks about Orlesians (can't remember if it was the wardens or something else) and at one point he says, "though part of me is glad we won't have Ferelden full of Orlesian bastards again".

EDIT: Yes, in Awakening the anti-Orlais sentiment is MUCH stronger.

Although playing an Orlesian warden is awesome for how many lines you get.

I like how the people in the Fade trapped by the Baroness are all paranoid if you're an Orlesian warden, even calling you Orlesian swine if you side with the Baroness.



Since I only play Awakening with Orlesians, I don't even know how they react to wardens from Ferelden.

You pretty much get mad props and everyone loves you.

"ITS THE HERO OF FERELDAN OMG!"



My favourite part though:

-No they sent the hero of Fereldan.

Kidnappers: Thats the one who killed the archdemon!

K: Ahhh! -one of them jumps off the cliff to avoid fighting you.



Pretty much you get adoration and love from all the people you meet.



Wont see that with Dain Aeducan though.

I cant honestly stop finding it funny how a Paragon to the dwarves who was lined up for an arldom ran off with a human women, an elven assassin and his dog instead of living in Fereldan or Orzamar as a hero.



Although Fereldan has Anora, Orzamar has Bhelen, the anvil, and human military aid. So he really dosent have to help out anymore.

Ah yes, the kidnappers of Lady Eileen. They actually also get pretty scared with an Orlesian warden and will also jump of a cliff if you intimidate them. Guess they had to pay some props to the Orelsian warden.

Yeah, I have to do that still.  I'm burnt out on DA, however.  And question is, do I go for son-in-law or for female Warden "leadership looks good on you"?  Choices.

The idea of Loghain's flirtations scare me so I've never done a female run of Awakening nor of DA (where I let him live).

Heh, I don't see it as flirtation, no more than his compliments to female Wardens in Ostagar. Doesn't have the same feel as Daveth, for instance. I wonder if there are any VO notes about those lines?

The toolset doesn't open awekening's dialogues, areas, creatures, etc., we are still waiting a patch for that... 

And I agree with Addai, I don't see any flirtation there, as much as I would like to see it.

Couldn't agree more. XD He seems outright happy, not even being sent to Orlais got his spirits down. And as I'm going to set the record straight with Alistair in DA2 (Hopefully), I'm utterly content. :innocent:
