I recall Alistair being described as strawberries and cream.

I could buy coffee for Loghain, but moreso an aged Scottish whiskey- smoky, burns a little (or a lot, depending on your taste), but warm and sattisfying on the flip side.

I wouldn't call that delicious....I don't mind slashes but there are some pairings that are so.... wierd. 
I really can not see Loghain with anyone else but Maric, as far as slash goes.

Moob-ghain and Logh-corn are out of the question. Only Alistair's awesomeness can fill those shoes, it would be sheer blasphemy to allow otherwise.

Now, Pimp-ghain, Banana-ghain, and Loggy-Claus, on the other hand....
