That was just an example. I've also seen Edward Cullen transfer to Hogwarts, the Pevensie children go through the Wardrobe into Middle Earth, Luke dies as a child so Kal-El has to destroy the empire, Revan raise Harry Potter, House raise Harry, Genesis raise Harry...pretty much everyone under the sun raising Harry. I've seen a lot of crossovers covering all sorts of subject matter and fandoms. I have yet to see one that doesn't feel contrived.

And how much do those change the story itself huh?

Plenty. Not all fanfiction that I read is just a retelling of the plot, you know.

Edit: Although since my complaint is that I don't feel that the way the two fandoms cross is ever believable then I don't see what it really matters how much changes.

LMAO I didn't even notice that. Heh.

I find it interesting that people are still hotly debating over Loghain some 10 months after the game came out. Testament to the character, for sure.

'Cause we'll never know the absolute truth of him. People still hotly debate whether or not Alistair is whiny or Morrigan is evil, too. Fun times. Posted Image

Knight: It depends on viewpoint I suppose. Though the reason I love some crossovers is due to a brilliant story I read about a Warhammer/Star Wars. Before you get your pants up about the Emperor Reviving, let me just say that what makes the story is how the author handles war. How he handles the different personalities of people and the different types of Government. ( The Imperium's alien bias is well featured in it for example ).

I happen to love analysing both the Galactic Empire and the Imperium of Man, compare and contrast them. But I don't feel like I have to write a story about the two existing in the same place. But that's just me.

Wait.....I just realized something...

Did you say HOUSE raising Harry?! I SOO need a link to that!

As I repeat myself, read mine :P.

I don't think it's still up. It was from quite awhile back. Although since I was just scanning through HP/House crossovers, I noticed that a lot of them don't even bother explaining how they happened to meet. They just go straight to 'So Hermione and Chase are in a relationship. Deal.'

Yep. I mean, how can there not be Morrigan on my sig?
But it kind of ruined my Corleone / Xanatos / TIM sig, since I had to shrink it. If only they accept slightly bigger sigs.

I agree, we need bigger sigs. That way you could also include Morrigan's wonder-rack!:wizard:

You had to shrink it, so it's ruined? Lol, the *sacrifices* you make for her. Posted Image

Deal with it. I think every male, and more than a few females, do. Frequently.

Knight, I was wondering something: You know how you said that if you were a companion then you'd have a baited romance so you could take over the party? Well, why would you even wait that long instead of just doing a default switch in command?

Didnt you want to go look around the Wilds for the blokes Morrigan was "with" at one point?

Here's a quick interlude in the debate, brought to you by Aimo:

I have to laugh every time I see this, since I didn't realize at first she was holding a glass and assumed she was grabbing the package.

I always see that, too. Posted Image
Still a good pic, though Posted Image

I think it's aimo doing a Rohrschach test for who has a dirty mind.  You and I obviously... LOL

Oh and I am going to "deal with it". Very soon.
That is if my divine kid is going to show up in Witch hunt.

To be honest...yes.

Because it's much more fun.

If the kid shows up in everyone's default game sporting The Beard, even in playthroughs where Alistair, Loghain, or some random Warden did the dirty, then we shall know who really is behind the new DLC. And go on a "KOP Hunt".

A KoP hunt which will not only cost 100$ for simply having my name, but will also lead to a gameover and a system crash down as it is a paradox to even think about hunting down KoP. Such a reminder is well worth the money methinks.

Pheh. Such paradoxes do not phase my royal super-galatic para-divine self. I would easily find you, and ring my 100 bucks back from your scrawny neck. Plus extra for even questioning my incomprehnisble awesomeness.

Oh..this thread is about Loggy...oh yeah, right. Um, well, Loghain's rack is pretty awesome too. And deep. But not as awesome as Alistairs.

There, thread back on track.:police:B)

Well of course Skadi, you are an exception. You know that! Besides, I would let you find me in the first place.

K, so Loghain.

Hss anyone ever wondered when and how he met Cauthrien? And to what extent does her admiration for him go?

Well, we know that she was a peasant who saw him getting attacked by bandits and tried to save him. He didn't really need her help but he appreciated it, I guess, and so he took her along and trained her.

Cauthrien has a serious case of hero worship, almost cult like. She is like a love struck groupie to Loghain's rock-star, though I'm not sure if she ever got the "backstage pass". But I think that she has a serious thing for him, mixed in with professional and heroic adoration.

That was in the codex? Eh forgot about that.

I had always assumed he saved her from Orlesians or something. But maybe she isn't old enough to have lived through the invasion.

I'd estimate Cauthrien's age about early to mid 30's, so she definitely wasn't around for the Orlesian party. Loghain probably sees her as a son/daughter combo he never had.

Doesn't Anora fit that combo already? I mean we know she actually trained with the sword and bow.
