I have a fixation with noses as well. I hate button noses on men and women. I always thought they looked kind of piggish. Straight, aqiline, or wavy noses I prefer.

Loggy's nose is nice and aquline, sharp. classically "noble" looking. Adds a certain refined ferocity to his features.

He also has a nice jawline and chin. Long and tapered, as opposed to square and brutish. I have always found narrow, tapered jawlines and chins to give a person a more thoughtful, intelligent appearance.

My nose is similar to this (less curved):

Chin too, now that I look at it.

That's a nice nose. Mine's pretty straight but it's not small, which I'm thankful for as I'd look stupid with a small, girlish nose.

I wish I had a smaller nose. Objectively, I don't think it's THAT big but I have kind of a nose complex and can't stand large ones.

My nose got broke once in a fight, but in general, it's original form was very straight, moderately sized. I'm glad i didn't get my mom's nose, which was a small, button, turned up pug nose. irritatingly cute.

Oh yeah, I have nothing against strong noses or strong features in general.  My PCs always tend towards large noses, including my Shepard (am currently playing ME).

My two canon's have moderately longish, straight noses that are a bit prominent, especially my noble. A strong, Roman type nose has been long associated with nobility and good breeding (yep, guess that means you too, KoP!)

Seeing how I am a Hashemite, I'd like to think so :D

Oh yeah? Well..I'm like...descended from some obscure Germanic chieftan who ran around wearing nothing but a fur cape and a braided beard, and most likely spent his days getting drunk and spearing wildlife for dinner!

So there, Mr. "I'm so cool cuz I'm from the same crew as Mohammed himself!" :P

Heh, Addai - knew you'd come around eventually! My Sheps pretty much all end up with a Roman nose (I think it's the second from left on the slider). The males, anyway. I do like the ME games very much. (And now that I've reinstalled Windows, I'll have to reinstall them as well. DLC is a pain in the arse when you have to reinstall. Grrr).

It's decently fun, but never going to be my favorite game and there are aspects I hate (the VO for Shepard, the Mako... aggh egad, I call it the "whacko").  I also think the writing, esp the dialogue, is very poor compared to DA.  Fortunately it allows you to blow through it pretty fast.  I'll probably play ME2 over Christmas, solely in order to romance Garrus!

I didn't mind the Mako. I much prefer it to the bloody Hammerhead in ME2.

One thing I will say about ME2 (aside from Garrus, who is a total sweetheart - his romance is very brief but it made me squee like no other romance has managed previously) is get the DLC. Dragon Age DLC is a bit ho hum, but Kasumi, Overlord and especially Lair of the Shadowbroker are all awesome. (I'm assuming you have Zaeed with your ME2 - he came free with mine, at any rate).

Overlord has the bloody Hammerhead in it, but also a certain VA you might recognise...

ME2 has Martin Sheen in it as the Illusive Man.  ( 1 mintute 25 seconds to get what I mean ).

Awesome stuff.

Addai: I would argue that the bigger story of ME2 is far better then DA:O, but the writing of individual characters and such is weaker.

However, for me the writing of a game is only around 30% of how I view a game. Gameplay is something that counts for me 30% as well and bugs 40%. DA: O is in my opinion a **** game due to bugs and ****** poor gameplay. ( as a relatively hardcore WoW player I can safely say that I just laughed at the difficulty of Dragon Age, while ME 2 not so much. I played ME2 over 11 times JUST for the awesome combat then I stopped when I was breezing through it just like in Dragon Age, even so if I pick up ME2 now I will get owned badly )

Eh, I played ME2 twice and I couldn't do more than that. Still, 'twas a good game and I'll probably start a third playthrough some time before ME3.

There is nothing quite as stressful as dealing with Husks on Insanity.

Until you pick up the Mattock with Cryo Ammo and use Ad. Rush as a Soldier.

With Thane and Miranda its just high paced fun.

Then again I did not like how Shepard was plothammered and then railroaded into generic action star #33718102810.

I found it more annoying than challenging.
Then again, most game tend to confuse challenging with annoyingly frustrating.

One exception I can think of is Sins of a Solar Empire, which is challenging in a very fun and engaging way. But it's an 4X RTS.

I like playing Medieval 2 Total War myself.

Especially as England, Longbowmen are fun.

Husks are cakewalk. Scions couples with Husks however are not.

Still AD+Warp Ammo+Squad Cryo Ammo+ Zaeed and Thane = win there.

And Medieval 2 is a kid game compared to Sins. It's fun to get your ass kicked like you it happens on Very Hard in Sins.

Mattock is a DLC item, is it not? I only buy the big quest DLCs so it's not something I've used. I'll agree husks are a bit of a pain due to their armour. I mostly play on hardcore.

So, um, Loghain, then. Any chance of another chapter before Christmas, Addai?

I know, I'm late.  :?  RL has been interesting this week.  I'm on a new anti-migraine med that's made me really loopy and ravenous for sleep.  I am working on it, but.... I can't say when it will be ready for prime time.

So, since we seem to be drying up lately, let's have some humor...

This is what would probably happen if Kallian and Zevran discovered the Internet. They would be completely incapable of resisting the utter irony of a particular website and much hilarity would ensue... not that Loghain and the other companions would necessarily share that humor...
