QUICK!

Wait, the threat of slash was because of the tales of conquest, remember?

And innocent bystanders were traumatized.  Image IPB

Let's compromise. Loghain with girls, no slash.

So which do you think he prefers? Brunettes, blonds, redheads?
Rowan was a brunette, but Celia was blond?

Brunettes / dark hair ftw btw.

I concur!

Was Celia blond? Even that we don't know (two brunettes can still make blond kids)

Now you brought out Skadi!  Of course the talk of slash would make her de-lurk.  LOL

Alistair-Flemeth and Alistair-Sandal both made an appearance at some point.  Alistair-Flemeth scares me because people always talk about her raping Maric.  Image IPBImage IPB  *puppies and butterflies puppies and butterflies puppies and butterflies*

@KoP, you guys have a fit when we post Loghain + women in flagrante.  Image IPB  But, as you wish!

I wish I knew how to make cutscenes with the toolset, Addai, so I could at least get some Loggy-Love shots with Wardens that don't end up sparing him, so I at least get some compensatation for killing him!

Edit to add: happy Anniversary!

You just have to zombie-fy Alistair.  That's how I get my nekkie Loghain shots.

And thank you!  We made our own Arrangement 4 years ago today.  Image IPB  No Cailan required.

Loghain did say he'd rather think of his dead wife while having sex with Morrigan.....

I posted a pic on page 284 how I took over almost ALL the Ottoman Empire ( save Istanbul itself ) and gave it to Romania.

This is the largest extent of my Empire. I declared peace on Russia ( or rather Estonia + Ukraine ) just so I watch while Romania and Poland struggle to finish it off. I even played the historic battle of Trafalgar and smashed Nelson's fleet to bits.

Niiice. Can you make Napoleon himself as an admiral of a fleet? Does he provide a bonus or something? Or are there specific admirals you can recruit?

LOL I always play Gandhi in Civ 4 (didn't bother with 5 on account of the fact it is a) not for XP and B) crap) and I'm a ruthless SoB. I just like his fast workers and the comb of mysticism and industriousness.

Addai: Meteor = win. Although actually I dont' really want Anora to die - just Cailan. That'll do. But he does anyway. Can you kill off Eamon though? Because that would be awesome.

When I used to plat Civilization: Call to Power, I used to play mostly as the Welsh. So it was quite funny firing off nukes from Swansea into Los Angeles, and forcing massive tributes from the Russians to keeep from nuking Moscow. B)

Napoleon is the narrator in the historic battles, he does not participate as an admiral. He is voiced by Riordan so you can imagine how great it is.

For an example.

As for admirals, you have a tab where you can recruit one for a certain ammount of cash ( depending on their skill they cost more or less ), same goes for generals though there is a limit of 6 ( 8 ) with a very late tier upgrade.

Anyway, here are some videos from NTW.

Trafalgar French Victory.

Waterloo French Victory- Part 1.

Waterloo French Victory- Part 2.

Yea, I've watched the trailer a long time ago. Uber badass (and I kind of memorized it lol).

Sometimes, I feel bad that Napoleon lost. Don't agree with his foreign policy strategies (I am more of a Talleyrand and Metternich fan vis a vis foreign policy), but it's a pity that such a man who really had no equals at his time lost. The fact that he took power after being exiled the first time without a drop of blood, showed how much the French and the army loved him, despite everything.

And now I feel like listening to this. It was the music when Napoleon died in the mini-serie (I recommend watching it). And when you read that apparently Napoleon's last words were: "France. Armée. Chef d'armée. Josephine". You kind of want to cry (if it's true that it's what he said).

I watched the mini-series, good stuff, though I do question the historical accuracy of some things in it.

I don't think any of us can really understand how well loved he was. He became Emperor...with overwhelming popular support ( seriously almost four million votes for yes and merely nine thousand for no ). Loghain once mentioned that he would have led the charge if Maric had wanted to conquer the Fade. Napoleon was so well loved that the French followed him into hell.

When he returned he literaly placed himself in front of a firing squad ( Ney's regiment ) and when Ney gave the order to fire not a single shot went off from the thousands of soldiers that were present....I think that speaks for itself.

That was one of my favorite scene in the entire mini-series. Of course I watch it in French. The way he says "Me voila" is just...awe inspiring.

I think the trailer for NTW is correct when Napoleon says "Now they say nothing. They fear me, like a force of nature, a dealer in death and destruction."

I wish a movie would portray the Battle of Krasnoi, where the Russians almost managed to encircle and completely smash through Napoleon's Grand Armee, I say almost since Napoleon, when he realized what danger was posed to him, rallied his Imperial Guard, placed himself at the head of his Old Guard and ATTACKED the Russians.

The French, completely overwhelmed in numbers, artillery and cavalry ( let alone the fact the French troops were all starving by now ), compelled the Russians to cancel their offensive to crush Napoleon through this attack.

Now that is what we now call military brilliance.

All this talk of undersized pseudo Frenchmen with big egos is making me rather itchy.

So here's a fair warning classic Loggy shot:

My favorite sentence is "My enemies are many. My equals are none".
He was right.

He is a military and political genius. And watching the Imperial Guard marching forward would have been terrifyign to any European at the time.
