I'll keep sticking my head in, in the hope of some saucy Loghain fan art and what not, but I don't know nearly enough about history to be able to contribute to these discussions.
Neither can I, but Chapter 8 is in beta and will be up hopefully by the end of this week (Friday/Saturday)... and there's actually a small shout-out to both you and Addai in it, lol.
Why Teyrn Loghain is the deepest character in Dragon Age

Come now. If we can't mock the French, who can we mock?

Besides, I'm not mocking their language. I'm just mocking their propensity to get into situations and then need my countries aid to pull their asses out of it after their government gives up the Key to the City for kicks.

In like 10 seconds.
12 tops.
My arcane warrior mauled him so fast that it was not even funny.
It got me to thinking:
WHY am I allowed to use magic like that in the landsmeet?
It just seems so silly that I can cast magic like that and no one really cares at all.
Redid it without such powerful magic though.
But I did lol on that run because Wynne kept using blood magic to stop the darkspawn at the gates!

I remember, back in the days right before the Iraq invasion, that several units of the Iraq army were crossing the border to surrender to coalition troops, before the War even started. One guy remarked "Who the hell trained Iraq's army, the French"?
I lol'd.
@Giggles: Yeah, there shopuld have been much more consequence in game and restrictions on certain things. Supposedly, mages are widely feared, blood mages more so, yet you can throw spells, left and right in public places, in front of clerics and templars, without so much as sqeak.
being able to use blood magic at the Landsmeet shouldn't have been allowed, or restricted in some fashion.

And one wonders how De Gaulle hated the Americans so much, truly a leap of logic there.
In all fairness I agree with the French Mocking, because the 3 leaders of note that led France were:
-A peasant girl with no education who proclaimed God spoke to her.
-The son of an Austrian woman.
-A Corsican who did not even know French that well!

Not to mention they lost twice...to the Italians.
I mean, even the Ethiopians kicked the Italian's asses, lol!

My fastest Loghain duel was with my CE Rogue --also about 10 seconds. It's not the magic. Although she did dose her weapons with Quiet Death, which could also count as not exactly Marquess of Queensbury rules. But hey, nobody said no poison, no blood magic, no insanely powerful arcane warrior awesomeness.
But I did lol on that run because Wynne kept using blood magic to stop the darkspawn at the gates!
Okay, that's awesome. Should totally not have been allowed to happen, but awesome.

He shield bashed Morrigan! KoP disapproves.

There was revenge, however. This rather kinky-looking shot is Loghain in the throes of passionate... Blood Wound.

But in the end, they're one big happy family, except for Alistair who's gone off to be a bum.

Napoleon had a heavy Italian accent, but there was nothing wrong with his French.

I set off a Storm of the Century in there once.
edit- Although the best one?
I had my mage and Morrigan cast grease at the same time and lol'ed for a long time watching all these nobles falling on their asses and trying to fight it out.
Loghain kept going: FOR MARIC!
slip
FOR MARIC!
slip!
For-
SLIP!
Oh god I think I bruised a rib doing that.

Although I loled when my undead companion got the killing blow on her.

Although to really make the most of that song you'd also have to get as many people as you can into their smallclothes before the battle.
