Well, given that he kept screaming "YESSSS!" like he was in the middle of an intensive orgasm everytime Blood wound injured him....I dunno how much of a punishment it actually is...

LOL I've been reading Kushiel's Dart and now you're giving me thoughts.

Honestly, there are some things I just don't wanna know.

Yeah, perhaps a bit too much complacency on his part. Still, it's very unfortunate that it has been allowed to get this far, as no matter what, alot of innocent people are going to be killed, lives disrupted, and property destroyed. regardless of who does what to whom and when.

True enough. I personally pray that whatever happens it will end with as little bloodsheed as possible, not likely but still.

In reality what I EXPECT to happen is a very bloody civil war. On open ground I would place my money on Gaddafi winning against the rebels ( he does have air superiority after all )...but it will all come to Urban Combat, which is a bloody nightmare for anyone.

Along with it coming down to the urban combat elements, there's also the question of international military intervention. The big problem for Gaddafi is that every time he takes an action against the civilians, there's a higher chance for an international intervention. He's in a possibleCatch22 *shrugs*

Oh, I don't know.

Loghain saying: " Warden, you are right. My crimes are horrendous and unforgivable. I have been a very naughty boy, and deserve to be punished. Severely. Hopefully, your sentance involves ball gags and electric nipple clamps" would be a pretty epic way to end the Landsmeet.

That seems the most likely, and yeah, Ghadafi has a distinct advantage in terms of having air power. But yeah, urban combat would end up being unavoidable, and there's really no quick, clean way to win there at all. He will lose more forces from urban warfare than any other cause. Unless  he plans on firebombing enemy cities into cinders (which would probably just end up pissing people off more and give even more reasoning for international interference) he's going to have one hell of a bloody job.

@Glorfindel: I really hope that the West is just chest beating and making threats, as getting involved would be the crowning moment of stupid. You just don't get involved in other people's civil wars unless you absolutely have to. And this is not a case where we have to. Plus, as far as the US and UK go, we simply can't afford it. And it would be hypocritical of nations such as France and Germany, who opposed the Iraq invasion, to support action on Libya.

You see? I could have come up with a much better way to resolve the Landsmeet than was given. Loghain would have had three choices instead of two: Execution, Grey Wardens, or to serve his sentance in Skadi's Love Dungeon.

You see? No need for violence or bloodshed or drinking psychoactive toxic poisons....well, except  forthe enjoyable kind.

Dawn of War 2 Retribution is awesome!! Nothing like having elite stormtroopers blast everyone, while Ogryns charge in ignoring suppressive fire. And just when their numbers dwindle, a Valkerie gunship comes in to reinforce their numbers. *dreamy sigh*

And Lord General Castor is badass. "I'll toughen you up or use you up. Perhaps both as the Imperium requires."

Sadly it seems very short Knight. I did get almost three hours into the Imperial Guard campaign ( i'll post it on youtube when I finish rendering the videos ). and I am not impressed.

There is a lot less dialogue then in Dawn of War II and Chaos Rising ( at least for each individual race. ) and after fighting through 2 planets besides Typhoon ( Calderis and Aurelia ) I still haven't seen anything that would help the Inquisitor with evidence to stop the Exterminatus.

That seems the most likely, and yeah, Ghadafi has a distinct advantage in terms of having air power. If an army like the US one can be bogged down in a city held by a few guys with mortars, then I can only imagine what will happen in Libya.

What I do know for certain is there is no way in hell I can image Tripoli to fall without foreign intervention. I watched the news footage of those 5.000 volunteers training to march on the capital and my only thought was "lambs to the slaughter."

Well while I wait for my Morrigan replacement figure to show up in the mail, I can make some Loghain photocomics because who doesn't love Loghain dispensing tactical observations to various characters from other series and media.

Oddly enough I figured all the armor would be sculpted on, but NO, much of it is glued or screwed on thus allowing a greater range of motion. Plus he has the most articulation of all 4 Dragon Age figures, so he can pull off some ass-kicking poses. The only downside is that he has sculpted bags under his eyes but they opted for minimal paint applications to his face and thus he is just this pale salmon skin tone with NO DARK CIRCLES AROUND HIS EYES!

Thats like the Kool-Aid Man bereft of Kool-Aid within him. That and wthout the bags he looks awfully like Howe. And I hate that Pennywise-voiced motherf**ker... killing my warden's hot mom and cool dad.

Exactly the same, I finished Calderis and Aurelia too. There is this one mission where you stop Blood ravens from destroying a village and wiping out some evidence.

I didn't buy it expecting a story for each race. I personally am glad I could play it with races other than the Space Marines, that are seemingly so favored as to make them boring. Though I would have preferred if the campaign is like that of DoW Dark Crusade.  Because here, the campaign is almost exactly the same for every race.

Still, I think it's fun and I am enjoying it. Besides, its only 30$ (cheaper than Awakening). And it becomes long if you plan to play the campaign with several races, plus last stand and custom games.

Decide for yourself Skadi: ( my playthrough of it, or well one video )

I finished the first mission on Merridian and now I am going back to Typhoon, ah well guess I AM going to go through with every race ( though I sure as hell am NOT going to do it every time on very hard as I am doing it now for the Imperial Guard....or maybe I will who knows ).

@ Skadi. It's not like Sins and it involves a lot of boom.

@ Costin. I'm doing the optional mission on Meridian first.

@Kop: yeah, just saw Costin's video. Definitely alot of boom, though the flamethrowers sure looked nice :D

@Costin: Nice commentary, lol. I tend to do the same with Sins. Like, when I get allied whipsers informing me their planet is being attacked by pirates, to which I mumble out loud "I should hope they are, I just paid them a fortune to, I hope I get my money's worth".

I've currently gone back to playing one of my canons in DA, my lesser human noble canon, while I'm waiting for the new Sins patch to come out of beta. Once my HN playthrough is done, if the mods still aren't finished for my primary mage canon playthrough, I'll go back to sin and work on creating the mother of all campaigns.

I sometimes do commentary for myself too. But with DoW, since I love the Warhammer 40K lore, I prefer to be quiet and listen to awesome quotes. And I lol almost everytime the Ogryns go "I hate you!".

And skadi, I can definitely, definitely, see you playing with Chaos Space Marines.

I personally prefer the Imperial Guard, for mainly one reason

Personally I am mostly silent, but since I am doing a commentary playthrough I do think it necessary to voice my thoughts.

Generally the only time I ever speak while playing is when I curse, and I curse VERY strongly when things go to hell ( which an usual thing for me given that I always play on the hardest difficulty ).

Skadi: That **** Knight linked with his pics ( she is a real **** as she is only in the sector seeking promotion and trying to preserve a training ground for troops, never mind the trillions of lives there! ) has some abilities which I know you would LOVE.

When you are talking about an Imperium encompassing millions of worlds besieged by countless threats, a few billion humans are insignificant in the larger scheme of things. Such is Warhammer 40K.

At least she is trying to prevent a complete exterminatus.
Besides, the best Imperial Guard regiments are Cadians, who are so because Cadia is a constant battlground and training ground.
