No Loghain yet, but after one more chapter there will be one from his PoV. ( and you will love it what I am going to do with him )

That sounded kinkier than it should have.

KoP, you need to stay out of that Alistair thread. Your mind is in the gutter! We're never like that here. Posted Image

Eherm, right.
So I am curious. Who here dresses him with something other than the River Dane armor?
I am the kind of player that doesn't care much for stats and just go with what I feel suits the character. So I always leave the River Dane armor on Loghain. Sometimes add the Grey Warden helmet.

I often ignore the stats on the armor, too, and just dress up everyone in what I think looks good. So Loghain's pretty much always wearing that River Dane armor... except when the heavy armor gets in the way in cutscenes. Then he ends up in ... light armor. .... I started to say "nothing" and then I erased it and wrote "leather" ... you totally baited me into this, didn't you? Posted Image

Same. It's his signature armour - I don't feel right removing it. Well...not until Phaonica finishes her mod, anyway. Posted Image

I always dress him in Cailan's Armor, figure he deserved it far more then Cailan ( I still am under the belief that Cailan's Armor was actually Maric's own armor which he got from Meghren after he killed him ).

I don't mod Loghain, either. I only just recently found a face mod for Loghain that I thought was acceptable. I might use it on some playthrough, but I like Loghain's signature look.

Takes out gun.

"Goodbye, Arcturus."

Pulls the trigger.

Haven't had much of a chance to do anything with him, but I can't see him in anything other than the River Dane armor. I did give him Maric's sword though.

My Arcturus? Or Mengsk?
Maybe killing off Mengsk now would be a blessing, considering the potential crap they can do with him.

I'm not really into mods that change the appearance of characters - to me, they are how the developers designed them. However, I do rather like this one.

I gave Maric's sword to Loghain, too, but I didn't put Cailan's armor on him. I wore that.

I always give Maric's sword to him - I find it fitting that he have his best friend's sword.

Both. Though I fear they are setting the ground for a Starcraft MMO by making Mengsk a villain.....

I tried a different Loghain morph too, but it just didn't seem right. The developers did an exceptional job making him look haunted, and anything that takes away from that seems like it doesn't fit. I do rather like the scar on that one though.

I've switched out some appearance mods here and there, but I almost always come back to the originals.

This is the one I kind of like. Still not as good as the original, but not bad, imo. I still only used it briefly before switching it back, heh.

I have to admit, I love that Loghain has black hair and Eamon, despite the fact that he's younger, looks old enough to be Loghain's much older brother. Loghain is supposedly the villain but manages to wear his age far better.

My worst fears would be realised and yet again one of my favorite franchises would be ruined. By the same damn company. Sigh.

Which is slightly odd.
How do you guys think Loghain managed to remain fit all this time? Working out? Constant training? PRactise with Ser Cauthrian nonstop?

Well, he is wearing massive armor every time he's shown. That, by itself, is probably a workout. :) The rest is probably genetics, and I attribute Eamon's appearance to be more a result of the poison than anything. Teagan is, what, seven years younger, and looks nearly young enough to be Eamon's son.

He's in his early 50s, not dead, KoP - you can maintain a good level fitness through exercise and not boozing it up and eating crap. The main difference with staying fit as you get older is that stuff is more likely to ache and injuries take a lot longer to go away. But that's not a problem in Thedas as they have magic.

Walking around in full plate all day would keep you pretty fit, regardless.

Some people just manage to stay really goodlooking even as they get older. Posted Image
He's only in his 50s, he's not *that* old.

Yea, I guess. He looks surprisingly young in Awakening, I could almost swear he is Nathaniel's older brother lol

Speaking of which, it would have been awesome if there was some interaction between the two.

I also don't think Eamon looks too bad, for an older guy. Maybe that's just me :P
