Did you gain the achievement however?

Heh.

I could have won that duel probably.
Poisons and Grenades are handy.

The ending is hilariously easy when you are packing grenades.
Especially when you have the uber ones.

I didn't get it no. Hmmm, I was always nice with them.

EDIT: it probably requires agreeing with him and letting him take the person he wants.

Somebody will post a guide for getting soon I guess.

Apparently its easier if you bring Fenris along.

I did enjoy the quest with the Qunari mage though, really interesting.

I think sister Petrice is an interesting character. A dogmatic fanatic to be sure, but interesting. Such a pity that she would use her intelligence for ignorance.

I loved how DA2 showed everything going mad and slipping downhill.

I should try to get the crown next time in though....

Yea the DA2 plot is awesome. Every faction has its fanatics and its moderates. In times of chaos, the percentage of moderates goes down sharply.

I liked the Viscount. Not strong enough, but he had the right idea. Poor guy.

I liked that part.

I thought the Grand Cleric was a moron though.
She has some much power to do something and yet... lets the maker do what he wills...

Yeah the did not work out now did it?

I actually liked Cullen in DA2 he was interesting.

Ok, so Leliana just said that Arcturus is a good king and that's about 6 years after WH, where he's supposed to have vanished.

So either WH did not import properly, or they retconned it and made WH happen a few years later. Hopefully it's the later.

I refuse to import a real save until I know what is and is not bugged.

Going to import the NO COMPROMISE run tonight.
I want to see Anora's cameo too.

Exactly how long after Origins is Witch Hunt supposed to be? I mean, it would have to be at least a couple years, for Morrigan to have had your kid prepare for whatever is going on. Since DA2 supposedly spans 10 years, it would depend. I think it's the latter, though, that WH happened later than you thought.

On PC it didn't' show up, but on console, in the map, the info about vigil's keep says it's been 2 and a half years since it was besieged.

I would not be surprised if Witch Hunt and the end of DA2 happen at the same time.

I think I would have liked it more if there was a bit less "mages, abominations, and demons." I'll take storylines like the Landsmeet, A Brewing Conspiracy, and the Qunari in Kirkwall.

I think magic will be a, if not the crucial issue in the Morrigan / Flemeth plot that will come later.

Magic is the central conflict of Thedas. Ironic in a relatively low-magic fantasy setting.

That said, hopefully they will explore other things as well. Like the politicization of the Wardens, or Qunari, or Awakened darkspawn.

Hot damn, finished DA2 the other day. I let Loghain live during my Dalish run, imported that as my first playthrough, and since I married Alistair to Anora I got an interesting cameo in Act 3 for my Hawke. And the news that revealed - holy crap, I really hope Loghain took his calling sometime before Year 7 of DA2...

This. Playing it on the PS3 with my sis (My Sig Edition will arrive tomorrow and then I'll get to play it on the PC) Major Squee moment for me, as it turns out that Loghain wasn't wrong it that regard AT ALL. :P

Why would Orlais want to target Ferelden, when apparently all of Thedas is on the brink of war? But I am yet to get there, so we'll see.

A war was inevitable and to be expected. But I expected more subtlety from Celene.

Knight just because you expect leaders to act only with moderation and subtlety before going in for the killing blow doesn't mean they do.

Hell the great leaders we remember today ( Augustus included, and even Arcturus ) all used their armies as the primary means of conquest with subtlety as a secondary.

As for Witch Hunt, there is no save after you decide if you go with Morrigan or not so the decision is not imported.

I never said they didn't use the army as their primary weapon, though I attribute more importance in their political deals than you do. I am talking strategically. What will conquering Ferelden accomplish when Thedas is on the brink of war and its source is apparently the Free marches?

Thedas is not on the brink of war until the game ends, only then do the mages launch a full scale rebelion.

Even so, Celene knows there is trouble brewing there, as the Divine is seriously contemplating an exalted march, and that's at the beginning of act 3.

You'd think Celene would be smart enough to wait, prepare and see what happens before making her move.
