Which is still fail. I was never a 5 star general, nor an officer even. Yet I puzzle at the descisions made by those who are, which seem to defy reality and common sense.

French and British, maybe...
As for the US generals...they don't make the calls. It's the bloody politicians who don't know squat about the military that do that.

Wonderful. And now the extremists have joined in the fun. Now who will we ****** off next, i wonder....
@Costin: That was actually one of the major reasons Vietnam was an epic fail. Washington was trying to run the war, and ignored it's generals warnings and concerns. Seemes they haven't learned, though. And sadly, they aren't the ones that will suffer for it, either.

Wouldn't be surprised if that was encouraged by some states (probably starts with a S) to shift the attention of the people away from domestic matters to the traditional scapegoat of the region.

I see it's been busy in here. I've been swamped with work and am well immersed in F:NV currently, even though DA2 is sitting on my desk. Quick question...I know some of you have been a bit disappointed with the ending but does DA2 have much replay value?

The family dynamic is different depending on which sibling and class you have.
Plus depending on your views on the mages the companions get some difference on the friendship/rival scale.

That's very naughty of "S", though in reality, it works and can understand why they are doing it. Israel is about the only universal Bogeyman that people in the region seem united in their dislike for. A very good diversion tactic on "S"'s part, though not very sound for longer term stability, as Israel has been relatively quiet through all this. The last thing we need is for them to jump in and get directly involved, though behind the scenes, I'm pretty sure the Mossad has been very busy.

Correction.
No one on the entire bloody planet is thinking long term.
And surprise surprise, China, Russia and the Arab League are condeming the US,UK and France for their tactical strikes....since well they've killed civilians, quite a few dozen actually.
Digging yourself a deeper grave Sarkozy? "Chuckle."
Anyway, been playing Shogun 2. Dragon Age II was great but after 64 hours on my first playthrough I need a break. I went as the Oda and conquered Tokugawa. Hard is game is hard though and I am playing on Legendary ( no save function beside auto-save before battles, no minimap, limited camera etc. ) and it's awesome!
Am at war on four fronts and my strongest ally has just turned on me after I passed their territory and declared war on a nation neutral to both of us ( he went to war as well but he got pissed apparently ).
Took out the Takeda Clan as well and am working my way through Eastern Japan...as for the west well....I got half a stack there defending the two castles I took by surprise, thing is I am about to feel the might of around 4-5 full stacks bearing down on that tiny little castte. My economy is in ruins ( since I lost a key trade agreement with the ally that turned on me )and I went with Domination mode ( as in capture 60 teritories in 200 turns ).
That said, I sure as hell ain't going down without a fight. I freaking love the playing the Oda as their faction bonus makes Ashigaru ( peasents ) tougher and to cost less upkeep and the vast majority of anyone's forces right now is made up of Yari and Bowmen Ashigaru.

IMO not really. At least not in its current state. Maybe some mods and patches can change my stance, but as of right now I'm not feeling all that motivated for another DA2 run.

For me it does. I started my female Hawke rogue, going to take it much slower then on my warrior but yes I am going to finish the game quite a few times.

^ Very nice. Notice how the other knights want absolutely nothing to do with Skadi's Heaping Helping of Delicious Discipline. . .but Loghain seems to be ready for another.
Lol, the only one dumb enough to still want to steal my fun was Eamon. So I had Wynne drop a fireball on him to knock him away, had Alistair run over and taunt Loghain to draw him away while Eamon was down, and then dropped a paralysis explosion combo to freeze Eamon and keep him out of the fight.
Don't need Eamon trying to steal my "glory", and I can "pleasure" Loghain without any help, thank you .

Even when I win the Landsmeet, as I did, I still usually take the brawl anyway, so I can enjoy Loghain running around going rawr, and it's the only opportunity to enjoy Loghain beating the crap out of Eamon.
Just the idea that Eamon thinks he can take on the Hero of River Dane makes me laugh. He either has a pair of brass cajones or he's just plain stoopid.

Ooh, haha, yes, I forgot. I don't usually teach Grease to any of my Mages, but I might have Wynne learn it just for the Landsmeet --since I managed not to kill her or drive her away this time.

Just sit back and get some serious Lulz at the whole Landsmeet.
Skadi probably just died a little inside imagining Loghain mud wrestling someone though.
I hate being a telepath some days.
