Why Teyrn Loghain is the deepest character in Dragon Age

It dragged on for many low and dull points though.
The backtracking and the hours I spent going from point A to point B were a drain.
DA2 played better and I enjoyed it a little bit more then Origins.
It still has flaws like Origins, but I enjoy it.

I think an important reason as to why I think Origins surpasses not only DA2, but also the ME games, is awesome NPCs like Bhelen.
There is more to a game then memorable characters and politics. Besides Orzammar and Loghain there is very little that make the Origins story+characters stand better then Dragon Age 2.
Hence why I said "an important reason". I think Origins surpasses DA2 in a lot of things. Even in the concept of "rise to power", I felt it more in Origins. I found companions to be much better. The wave after wave idea in combat only made it an annoying chore, I find myself enjoying Origin's combat more....etc.
On paper, DA2's story may sound more interesting and mature than Origins, but the execution was laughable except for Act 2.
But that's just me.
EDIT to add: I still enjoyed it though. It's a good game, barring its atrocious ending. If the game ended with Act 2, I might have considered it Origins' equal.

@Bitenomnom : It is looking great!!
What I have noticed is that his right leg is a little shorter compared with his left, they look the same size in your drawing, but due to the perspective the left one should be shorter. I don't know if it was your intention, but I think his elbows are too close to his body like he is holding himself or something... you could loose it a little bit, since he is hunched and tired? And this is tricky - you don't need to hear me - but....with his left leg bended like that I suppose his weight should be mostly on his right leg, which means his right leg should more aligned with his chest...
I think this one matches your perspective using the camera from the game:
*snip*
Yeah, I noticed there's a lot wrong with the legs, so I'm actually redoing them completely. Good point about the elbows...I can see what you mean; I'll have to try to work with that.
As for where his weight is -- ah, that must have been why things were even looking even more off! I'll try to keep that in mind when I redraw the legs. (Not that it's not possible that his weight is actually on the other leg -- but I'd probably have to change something to convey that, too. Anyway, it'd make more sense for it to be on his right leg, I think.)
Yes, that's very close (mine is maybe a little more from the front?). Thanks! And thanks for all your help!

I just realized something.
Bodahn and Sandal are going to Orlais.
The Chantry which is collapsing is based in Orlais.
The Nexus Golem has lines about Orlais.
IF DA3 is set there I would love seeing a Loghain GW cameo.

I still loved DA2, and REALLY want to see DA3.
Meeting Empress Celene and the Divine would be awesome.

But I feel all of them are str4ongly intertwined that Bioware can pull it off. Unlike in DA2, with the Qunari being most unrelated to Act 3.

I may have a few issues if I have to kill him ( along with some of my squad ), and my Shepard only knows one way to deal with those that ****** him of!

No, that's what I keep Sandal around for.
Loghain just knows better than to show up on my doorstep without at least an armful of dismembered body parts, preferably Orlesian. Extra credit if he bathed them in a bath filled with the tears of kicked puppies. Orlesian poodle puppies.

Garrus is good. Can't have my Shepherd renegading her way through the galaxy without her Turrian love machine.
I hope legion joins again. After Garrus, he's my next fave.

So this is confirmed, then, that TIMmy boy wants to finally erase Shepard from the equation? Fair enough. My Shepherd was pretty much willing to call it even on Mindoir, since Cerebus did save her ass, but if TIM wants to resume hostilities, by all means.
Maybe there is some hope it won't end in blood...so I would preserve the base still.
All this makes me BLEH though

If TIM is willing to risk getting on Shepherds bad side, after seeing what she/he can do, then I'm hoping that he has some very epic reason for choosing such an obviously suicidal course.
Especially in the case of Sole Survivor Shepherd, who already has a less than stellar "history" with Cerebus.
Of course, talk of ME3 so soon after ME2 doesn't really fill me with warm, fuzzy sensations.

Well, the armor is hard and has some unusual shapes and points to it, so I suppose if one rubbed against it in just the right manner, it could be considered "cuddly".
Not that I would advocate besmirching Loghain's honor by dry-humping the Armor of River Dane or anything. Particularly while he was wearing it. No, no. Far be it from me. I would never suggest such an action. Wouldn't be prudent and lady-like at all. *cough*
