I have the same problem.

What type of pictures did you try?
JPEG, BMP?

JPEGS.

Try playing with the format a bit.

I know that it does not like BMP, or JPEG.
I just use imageshack since its easier, and never has real issues.

I've successfully uploaded .jpg files but find that .pngs look better. *shrugs*

Far out. Switching the format to PNGs seems to have done the trick. Thanks for the suggestions!

The Loghain thread has been perverted by evil Orlesians it seems.
Shame that the next Dragon Age game will bet set there.

Imagine if you will... a world full or Marjorlane, and Isolde clones!

Honestly, I'd rathr imagine a world full of Leliana and Riordan. Sure, Riordn had the stupid idea to jump onto a flying dragon from on top of a tower, but damn it, that took some big brass ones!

Well to add a strategic element back to this thread:
Mount and Blade: With Fire and Sword, preview.

Sounds cool and looks cool.

Hmmm, I am not a fan of the time period.

I sucked at Mount and Blade.

Ended up selling grain and making myself rich off of that.
Never got into it... just not a game for me.

I loved horse archery though!

I was quite good at it I think. I accumulated a fortune early on by constant raiding of villages during war time. But that's only when I was poor, I avoided doing that later on, especially when I forged my kingdom.

I just ran a PMC and sold grain to poor areas!

I got rich and on down times I raided bandits and petty lords.
Imagine a slightly nicer version of the mongols, who did part time caravan jobs and mercenary work.

Fun times.
I got good with my bow.

My dude didn't fight that much, but he usually charged with his elite Mameluke cavalry for funzies.

I did manage to ****** off to larger powers though at once.
They both within a short time tried to raid my caravan as I was near their borders.

They got butchered like I normally did, and oops two countries both want my head.
So I joined... I think their faction color was green and fought in their war.

Made some awesome money off of that.

I tried being a general but it was way more fun to run ahead taking out mooks with my saber after a while.

The game has a lot of variety. Someday, I might just play a merc leader who keeps fighting with everyone for cash. Maybe even a bandit, raiding caravans and villages.

But I am partial to state building and empire making, what can you do.

Oh for some reason I had a wife in one of the larger towns I traded with.

I was not even looking for one.
I ended up owning the town though after the dad passed on since I married his daughter.

Yea my dude married the daughter of one of his key allies. Of course he then turned on the Sultanate and his wife remained loyal to her husband despite him fighting against her father awww.

Of course he had the opportunity to take his father-in-law as prisoner, but he let him go.

The leader of the town I traded with was cunning.
He made a deal with me for better trading and stuff, if I allied with him and married his daughter.

My poor badass merc commander needed an ally after he had to run from another army.

People attack me first, I slaughter their forces, and then they bring MORE guys to kill me.
Idiots got killed by my hybrid Parthian/Mongol tactics.

I remember when Origins was coming out, the devlopers were comparing each of the characters to foods they resemble. Yet I never remember one for Loghain.

So if Loghain was something you could eat (well, in my case he is, regardless, but that's beside the point) what kind of food would he be?

Beef Jerky, because he's old, tough, sinewy, and raw?
A pint of porter or stout beer, because he's dark, bitter, yet strangely intoxicating?
An Oreo cookie, dark and crunchy on the outside, with a creamy white filling you just want to lick...errr..

Anyways, anyone else got any ideas for Loggy as food?

The black truffle --dark, earthy, rare, hard to find (you usually need a dog), an acquired taste, but unexpectedly rich and complicated in flavor.

Oh, and they're impossible to cultivate, too. ;)

By the way, do you remember what foods they listed for the other characters? Now I'm curious. . .
