Oh, trust me, once I'm done with him/them, Justice will know that it would be impossible for any demon to be as sexually depraved as my Hawke, and thus, give me an all clear on any future possible possesions.......

You heard his voice in Da2 I take it? It's deeper and louder. To your liking I presume

Sadly, like I said, they live down on the coast, in one of the more civilized towns. People up here still believe blue eyed dogs and cats are minions of the devil, and make the sign of the cross when one is spotted.

When got you living there anyway, if I dare ask?

My husband, prior to our engagement, did what many Brits did: bought a ruin for dirt cheap, rennovated it to live in at signifgantly less cost than in the UK, then planned to retire here, where the cost of living is a fraction of what it is in the UK. He saw this pictureque little spanish town on a mountain overlooking a valley and the Mediterranean, and thought "Sold!" before he even knew anything of the locals, the culture, even the language. I did try to talk him into just selling the place and buying elsewhere, but he wanted to live in Spain.

A decision he sadly regrets, especially now as the whole housing market has crashed.

Yes...and creepier especially.

Like I said, a real threesome, with all the high weirdness, insanity, and high voltage, completely guilt free.

My only complaint about a rival mance is that instead of feeding stray kitties saucers of milk, he is writing his crazy love manifestos. Why can't he do both? Feed the kitties, then walk around my estate ranting and raving and writing his lunatic manifestos to win my love, at the same time?

because that would make him even more epically crazy. And thus, perfect breeding stock.:wub::devil::devil:

I did not like all the angst and woe for Anders and Fenris.

I think that just all comes from being an anti-authoritarian abomination or a robot killing machine with blue glowy lines of toxic lyrium burned into your flesh.

Come now, this is Kirkwall. Nothing functions unless it has insanity, stupidity, horror, or pointless perversity written all over it.

You know, it's like so obvious. The veil is thin because of all that red glowy stuff underneath the city that makes templars fly and dwarves sing. It's the Lunatic assylum of Thedas, and a great place to live if you really don't give a sh*t about much.:police:

That's what I keep seeing. The whole red lyrium idol crap....like...ok...WTF? They couldn't even give us a hint at the nature of red lyrium? Or the signifgance of the idol? Normal lyrium makes people go nuts too, so other than being red and glowy (and thus, an ifferutable sign that this stuff is pure evil manifest, somehow), it's not really doing anything that normal pure lyrium or a lyrium overdose wouldn't do. The only difference is is that it turns Mereb*tich into a big piece as well. Which naturally, is a signifgant development in the saga of the substance known as lyrium, since this effect is certainly not recorded in any annals I've seen.

Amongst other assorted BS, it seems. Like Orsino the blob-monster. I honestly cannot believe I'd see something that banal in a Bioware game.

Maybe I should just always side with the mages, just so I can get the hell out of Kirkwall instead of being cursed with running the place.

Seriously, the place sounds like the town of Zozo in Final Fantasy 3.:?

Siding with the mages is very interesting.

William Wallace Hawke did just that.
Poor Sebastian....

The guy with Andraste's face on his crotch? That's actually a very good ending. I do hope he does gather an army and manages to burn Kirkwall to the ground. That would be epic. Hopefully, my Hawke will hear about it someday on her tropical island apostate paradise/nudist colony when Isabella comes for a vacation. B)

Maybe he will get lucky, and it will be the needy Warden who takes the quest, manages to raise a giant army of elves, dwarves, golems, mages, and templars to crush Kirkwall and this, seal the gates of hell.

Because the Warden has run up a massive tab at the Pearl with the "Surprise Me" options, and needs the money.

That would be an expansion improving the original. :police:

Naturally, I disagree with her assesment, but it really was fascinating to see how one's very culture, experiences, and history can see things from a very different perspective, and how it effects their gameplay. It's quite cute to listen to her explain in her Spanish accent, and amusing to listen to her and her husband tease each other and debate the game from their own perspectives.

Interesting...

I also suspect this is why so many people are more symapthetic to mages than templars among US gamers.

Yea I do think cultural differences have a certain influence in decision making. It would be an interesting experiment to make a poll and see the choices and percentages of each cultural bg.

Or a rather big influence, coupled with the kind of life each individual has lived.

For me liking Loghain was a no-brainer, as every single Romanian leader that ever achieved anything during his rule were first and foremost radical generals

The "politicians" and especially the moderates have always ( and I mean always ) brought our country to ruin.

Of course with no vision, politicians and moderates are as good as nothing.

I dont think my Canadian heritage really changed how I viewed Loghain really.

Having four generations of soldiers though before me, did a lot.
Mostly to make me roll my eyes at politicians, and to get a lot of respect for Loghain being a soldier.

Which could be why I hated Cailan, and respected Loghain for the choice he made at Ostagar.

I have yet to see a modern politcian with one! Perhaps Putin.

OT: I just finished Dawn of War II on Primarch again......with close to zero infestation on all my planets.

Damned if it isn't satyfsing to hear Angelos giving a 2 minutes speech at end of just how awesome you were.

Now I have seven hours of recordings to render and post on youtube...lovely.

I just had an epihany while playing Sins of a Solar Empire.

Anders is not a demon possesed abomination.

Anders and "Justice":

Advent:

"Exploding" Chantry:

The Advent is infamous for it's fondness of glowy beam weapons:

Furthermore, as KoP suggested, Kirkwall pretty much looks and acts like it got hit with Provoke Hysteria, the Advent's best planet killing ability.

The connections are clear. Blue glowy eyes and glowy beams that explode things, similarity between mage talents/psionic abilities, and both are driven by a fanatical thirst for vengance.

It is clear Anders is an agent of the Unity. He is not trying to free the mages, but cleanse the planet of heathens. :D

Skadi, you really should get the Witcher 2 when it comes out lol.

Apparently it will have full sex scenes, lol. Or at least THIS suggests it: http://images.euroga...ojmy_38.jpg.jpg

Exactly! It was a piece of Advent technology that focuses and concentrates the signals from Provoke Hysteria, thus provoking the holder to be even more "hysterical"!

Orsino turning into a blob monster was just a mutating side effect of the Advent's plasma weapons.

I think I have solved the confounding, nonsensical mystery that is DA2! :wizard::alien:

Been looking at that on the DA2 forums, lol. And knowing Thw Witcher, it will involve some really bizarre sexual encounters, too. I wonder what this round of sex cards will look like......
