Maybe he's getting nostalgic at being in Ortan Thaig?
"There's the river where me and Rowan..."
However, they're by Cadash Thaig in the picture, so. =p

I can't quite see Loghain boning an Orlesian elf, personally...
Well, if you must know, those Chevaliers cannot even make love correctly! It is up to our hero, Loghain, to get it done.

It's a Geralt pony with a customized goatee just for me!
And it's only temporary, tomorrow I'll be back to normal.

But we still haven't discussed that....

I feel like I'm missing out on a joke or something. What's up with the ponies? Is it an American thing?
Recently (late last year), a new version of My Little Pony was premiered (the original series dating back to the 80's). The new series got popular really quickly and plenty of internet memes and youtube videos have been made with it. That's actually how I became aware of it (the new version that is).
For the lulz, this is Pony Effect 2.
And well, it seems that a lot of people on BSN like da ponies!
EDIT: Just because...

And ponies are not confined to any nationality. It's a global phenomenon. Bent on world conquest. At least now that I've joined.

My Little Ponies were my favorite toy in childhood, from the very first ones ever released. I ended up with an impressive pony collection, including the Show Stable, Pretty Parlor, Dream Castle, Waterfall, and Nursery. My mother's waitressing tips were constantly being spent funding my Equine Army of the Apocolypse.
And now, the world shall glitter from my wrath.

+1. Maybe a tomboy thing? I was obsessed with horses but had realistic play horses, too. It was so cruel that I lived on a farm and we had horses but sold them before I was old enough to appreciate them. Anyway, I'm too old for MLP as well but I'm pretty sure if someone gave me a pink sparkly pony as a child I would have had the most fun devising ways to dismantle it. lolCalJones wrote...
I'm too old for MLP - I remember their advent and being disgusted by them. I had a Julip horse instead. They were more realistic, which was something I put a high value on. I was into horses, riding and horse racing so the idea of pink ponies with sparkles horrified me. Heh.

Okay, seriously --on the one hand, you marvel at how much time some people have on their hands; but on the other hand, you're glad they did. Even for a girl who was never into MLP, this is pretty epic.

Meh, the ponies are ageless really (at 26 I think I would also qualify as "too old" for it). I think in both of your cases its more a general dislike of the cutesy stuff.
Sometimes, I find it hard to believe that I am as young as I am. I did not know you're older than me for instance.
Oh and Z, watch this.
