Finally confirmed, after much speculation. Cailan really is a dip**** retard.

A real shame they cut that whole plotline out of the main game. The possibilities there for further intrigue and Landsmeet dilemas would be excellent.

Why, oh why, do developers cut the most awesome stuff from game and replace it with innane crap? I'd have much rather had this as a major quest/plotline than the Dalish.

Nah, my Cousland still kills him. He royally ****ed up the country after removing the king. Had he pulled it off with less bloodshed, more finesse,  and better planning, I might be more forgiving in that playthrough. But he failed. And the Evil Elf can forgive treason, but not failure.

Mwahahahahahaha!

However, as a consolation prize, my Cousland does leave his only child as sole queen on the throne, and runs off with said rose wielding virginal Maric-spawn to Annonimity Land. Sorry, no custom barbie hair, the hairspray required might ignite if Morrigan shoots a fireball close by.

Cut half of the effin' Branka Quest (I LOATHE the Deep Roads) and give us this! Without it Loghain sedating/poisoning Eamon will always be called petty and idiotic.

I'm one of the few who loves the Deep Roads (and the Fade). But I think we both agree there's tons of really pointless or unlikeable parts to the game that could have been cut to include this plot. If anything, it has far more bearing than alot of things that were in game.

I myself felt Loghain's poisoning of Eamon was stupid because he did it to sedate, not kill Eamon. Had he pulled off killing Eamon and Cailan, he would have reached epic levels of win in my book, and might have lived through far more playthroughs.

Grrrr....Eamon...kill...grrrr....

I'm not afraid of the rainbows-and-unicorn Loghain banner either... I just had to sleep at some point last night!

Honestly, I have a rather disturbing personality that has zero problem juxtapositioning the really cute and the really dark. Hence, not unusual at all in my house to see a picture of a cute kitty dressed up at a sushi bar right next to a picture of a dragon gnawing someone's head off. Or that my iPod will shuffle some death metal or gangsta rap right next to a Disney soundtrack song.

I would approve of this mod. Seriously pisses me off every time that I have to go on a pointless quest to find the Holy Grail...ehm Sacred Ashes and then get this cutscene where it looks like my mage is uber pilgrim when she couldn't be bothered. Why not save yourself some time and just let Eamon die? Bloody hypocrite...

Well, to be fair, I like to play humans and if you want to play a human rogue or warrior, then you're stuck with a Cousland. I do like being able to marry Anora and have Loggy as a father in law. (I wonder if he'd let you call him "Dad"? Heh).

But mages are my favourite, on the whole.

My Cousland girl didn't get on with Alistair (she couldn't understand how he went to pieces after losing a guy he'd known six months and expected her to lead when she'd lost her entire family)/ She sided with Anora, had Al exiled and made herself chancellor (with the hope of getting Anora to marry Fergus).
