Morning, folks. Had to share this one as it made me laugh.

Ugh, I had to talk my other half (who lives 300 miles away, give or take) through part of Fallout 3 the other day. He's a gamer as much as I am but is more into co-op sniping games. Spoke to him later to find out if he'd finished that section and he said yes, then he'd blown up Megaton. *massive facepalm* That's the one thing I can never do in FO3, even on my more evil Lone Wanderer.
Now he's talking about trying DA. If he kills Loghain I might just have to dump him.

I have a question for my fellow Loghain fans:
It concerns my story (Link in my sig)
I know Loghain is not the kind of man who'd venture into smut any time soon after the Landsmeet. The situation I have cooked up isn't luff!smut or fluff, it's basically the traditional "I loathe you so much, damn, you're hot!" (Not that flippant, just putting it mildly) situation. I have a rough draft of the chapter, including a VERY intense debate between Loghain & my Warden, featuring a (I hope) heartbreaking and intense quarrel, ending in an almost bloody make out session. (Dominance, wanting what you think you hate and all that) Would that be feasible in your opinion? There are no feelings involved (yet), it's basically about desire, power and traumas endured by both.
I hope me asking about this is alright. It's about Loggy, after all.

Is it a bad thing that my Warden senses are tingling and making me think Destructo Nookie is somewhere down the line in your fic? ( tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DestructoNookie ) lol
The general description seems plausible enough to me. Then again, it's also first thing in the morning here. I'll ponder over it some and see if I can't make a more educated response after work...
While I certainly wouldn't be opposed to a chapter like that, I often find that they're written just to be written, and usually completely out of character. Loghain doesn't strike me as the "short fuse" kind of guy. Not to say that he doesn't get angry, but he learned how to keep it in check long ago. A general who's quick to anger is a poor leader, after all, and fraternizing between a commander and a soldier is just a bad idea. He'd have to be pretty well provoked to lose it enough for the argument to start in the first place.Persephone wrote...

See, that turian councilor is one of the reasons I always save them. He's kind of awesome even if he doesn't happen to agree with me.Giggles_Manically wrote...
Is that Duncan in the pic there?
Made me regret saving the council in ME1.
I really hope they are going to say the council is just lying to you and is up to something.Sarah1281 wrote...

Making it believable is all going to be in his characterization. He's passionate so I don't see any reason why he can't find another outlet for it. I think he's either going to have to justify it, or find a reason why it doesn't matter.
Could happen. You are Cerberus by the time they talk to you and say they think you're too gullible, after all.Giggles_Manically wrote...

If it turns out that they are that dumb I will have to be picking my space bar out of my forehead from headdesking so hard.
Thats one "suggestion" a lower ranked person wanted.Costin_Razvan wrote...
I think one would only be gullible if he/she actually believed that rejoining the Alliance is even a possibility. In LotSB it is revealed the Alliance wanted to arrest you but did not because of Hackett and Anderson pulling their strings.
It seems so, but then again its hard to not compare the two.Collider wrote...

I remember him being very nice to my City Elf. I think he said something about me being worthy and not letting anyone else tell me otherwise.Giggles_Manically wrote...
But to bring this back to Loghain which origin do you think he treats nicest in Ostagar.
He definently is very respectful to my Dwarves who seem him.
I'm not talking about whether you are actually gullible (and Shepard can't be expected to have metagaming information like that anyway). The Council outright says that they think you are because you're believing the BS Saren fed the Geth to get them to follow him, which they may or may not actually believe.Costin_Razvan wrote...
