When does he show up in Awakenings? I still haven't played that with my canon.KnightofPhoenix wrote...

He shows up after you finish 2 of the 3 main quests.
He says different things when you are a prince consort. It's a really short, but awesome cameo.

He seems remarkably cool about the whole Orlais thing.

I'll be interested to hear what he says to my Warden. Probably not much personal, but I did force his only child into marriage with Alistair. I really need to take her through Awakenings.KnightofPhoenix wrote...

Not terribly exciting, but good enough.Costin_Razvan wrote...
Loghain Cameo Skip to 8:10 for it. That is what he says to a Warden who did not marry Anora.
I'm still not quite sure behind the reasoning for sending him to Orlais, of all places. And I don't understand why Weisshaupt seemingly doesn't trust you to keep a rein on him. As I am the Commander and he is my junior Warden, it's a bit of a slap in the face to me.

Yeah, a son-in-law Warden gets a way better cameo. But either way, the cameo is way worth it.

It's possible that the First Warden doesn't want Loghain in Ferelden interferring, not with Ferelden politics, but with the First Warden's intentions for the Wardens participating in Ferelden politics. And what better place to subdue Loghain than stationing him in Orlais?

Very true. I'd imagine Loghain has quite a few opinions about a fairly large chunk of Ferelden land essentially belonging to the Grey Wardens.phaonica wrote...

In his cameo to a non-HN chancellor, he comments on your leaving court being a smart move.

Replaying your canon? Just because, or changing some decisions?

I'm not sure. You can take the man out of Ferelden, but you can't take Ferelden out of the man. I think that if the First Warden decided to try any shenanigans with the Arling that Loghain would be adamantly opposed.CalJones wrote...
Although being a Grey Warden, he might have revised his opinion slightly.

Because I miss playing him and I miss romancing Morrigan (can't do it with PCs other than my canon, I'm weird like that).
Not changing any decision.

Heh, sorry. I'm trying to watch a very disappointing college game and stretch a sparse interview into five pages. I think I'm not good at the reading comprehension right now.CalJones wrote...

And damnit, I want to go to bed but someone's having a loud party in a garden out back and I can hear drunkards singing and laughing. Grrr.

I'll back KoP on the weirdness of not wanting to romance your favorite LI with another character. I'm also weird like that.
And "not changing any decision"... poor Alistair. Wait... no!

I've still yet to complete an Alistair romance but, well, ya know. Not going to happen.
Do some players get jealous of other players' romances with their favourite character, I wonder?
(Who the hell is Uncanny?)

Well, if I stuck to that rule, most of my playthroughs would be romance free. In fact, only one was.

HAHA!
Ahem, the Uncanny thing is a bit of a joke amongst a private group I'm a part of. She's our favorite member so we want her as LI in DA2... ignore that!
As for the jealousy thing, I don't know. I like the happy couple of my main PC (Dana) and Leliana, and to romance her with a different character just wouldn't have the same vibe and I would feel rather awkward.
Then again, I'm a very weird person when it comes to this sort of stuff so don't mind me!
Here's a cute Loghain fan art:

My first thought on that was "that seems silly." But then I realized that throughout working on this Loghain mod, I had considered running a different character through the romance and I was like
So I'm guilty of it, too, apparently.

I don't deny it's a silly thing!
At least you understand where the silliness comes from.

I wish I could draw, because I have the picture in my head and no skills to materialise it. (kind of hoping someone would do it someday).
