Perhaps I should get Loghain back from Orlais and put the smack down.

Is it wrong that I just had a mental image of Loghain and Eamon in a wrestling ring, with Loghain running around in a gettup like the Rock used to?CalJones wrote...
I just ran through Witch Hunt again with the mage who was romancing Morrigan (I wanted the happy ending this time - my Cousland got a snog but went back to Anora) and the map symbol for Redcliffe is the same, even though Alistair is on the throne with Anora this time. Seems that Arl is grubbing for power whoever's in charge.

And then him chair slamming Eamon.

Loghain (top) - Eamon (or Teagan) (bottom)

How is it 'grubbing' when the Bannorn have never been unified or in Denerim's camp in the first place, and the last ruler of Denerim gave them every incentive not to look there?CalJones wrote...

People keep acting like it's some sinister power-hungry conspiracy against the rightful and natural order of thing.

Which, incidentally, sounds a bit like the United States between, oh, say 1789 and 1861. Then we spent the next four years killing each other.Giggles_Manically wrote...
It could be that many are coming from the POV of a strong central authority being the most important things like in the modern world. However I dont think Ferelden really believes in strong central authority that much, the people have a wide streak of independance.
That totally made my morning.KnightofPhoenix wrote...

But yeah, Loghain could totally pull off the people's eyebrow. And a TLC match would be appropriate for Loghain and Eamon... or better yet, a Hell in a Cell.

(Apologies to Mick Foley for putting him in the Eamon role. Foley's awesome).
This Hell in a Cell match is one of the all time great matches. A lot of people remember Foley's epic bumps but not many people realise that Undertaker was wrestling with a broken foot. When he jumps down from the top of the cell, I wince.

Oh definitely Hell in a Cell. I want to see Loggy hurl Eamon through the Spanish announce table.

Oh man, that video brings back sooo many memories!
And I had no idea Taker had a broken foot there. It never ceased to amaze me how those guys would keep going despite the injuries.
The image of Eamon flying through the spanich announcers table... LOVE IT! And then Loghain standing triumphant atop of the cell.

Wrestling was great during the Attitude period when WWE (or WWF as it was) had to compete with WCW, and ECW was waiting in the wings. (The old ECW stuff was awesome). Once WWE bought up WCW and ECW, it started going downhill. There's still the smaller feds, but it's not the same now.
It's funny because I grew up in England where we had World of Sport wrestling - awful fat men in elasticated pants (this was pre-lycra) waddling around the ring at Bradford Town Hall with lots of old dears waving their handbags in the front row.
When my fella moved in with me for a time, he insisted we get satellite telly so he could watch WWF. I groaned and rolled my eyes a bit, but then he showed me the original Edge & Christian vs Hardy Boys ladder match, and I was all "OMFG!" and that was that, I was hooked on Raw and Smackdown for a few years. (I still have a mountain of ECW videos which I can't play because I no longer have a VCR...).

*Obligatory Wrestling related post before moving back to the Loghain discussion*
Indeed. The good old attitude days, the monday night wars, Steve Austin, the NWO, DX... ahh, those were the days.
I stopped watching wrestling in 2007, when they came up with that ridiculous storyline where Vince McMahon "died". It had already been going downhill for a while but that was the last straw for me. And then came the Chris Benoit incident. He was my favorite wrestler and after what happened with him, I don't know, the love for wrestling was gone for me.
Alright, back to the regular scheduled Loghain programming.
Lovemuffin?

One of the questions in the thread was about Loghain's underwear, but what about his pants? I just put him sleeping there... and suddenly he spread his legs and I've got completly blind....oh shiny!

And nah, that's not pants...you can see up his metal skirt thingy (er...not sure what ya call that part of the armour) in the cutscene where he's slumped in the chair and Anora asks him if he killed Cailan. It's just the leather the metal parts strap on to. Ooh, I wrote strap-on. *note to self: banish all naughty thoughts!*

They look like trousers from this angle --shiny lyrium-infused trousers, perhaps, but all the same. . .
I can't look away from this screenshot. I love the warrior sleeping in his armor with his hair falling over his face, but then there's that bizarre vortex. . .must not move towards the light. . .

And I realiesd Alschemid might be, y'know, one of those people on the other side of the Atlantic. In UK, pants = underwear, but in US, pants = trousers.
We all know what his, ah, smallclothes look like from that scene with Morrigan. (Not that I ever make him do that, poor bugger).
