Yeah when I play the game, it gets a lot of static during the entire game, I have everything set to the highest settings, and I know that my computer can handle it, It shows up on both the monitor  and the laptop screen. it is annoying, but still playable HELP

Try turning off the "Film grain" in the graphics options. It's an effect meant to make Mass Effect look like an old 80s sci-fi movie.

Laptop. You said the magic word right there. Most laptops dont have anything close to a decent chipset in them to run the higher end graphics games need.

Except he's not said what he has.

Sounds like the film grain effect to me. And it's useful for hiding a lot of the "flaws" visually.

To me, that sounds like he has an external monitor plugged into his laptop, and it shows up on both that, and the inbuilt lcd display.
But hey, what do i know, apart from how to read and comprehend the written language?

You went on about his graphics card, and he's not mentioned which one he has in the laptop. For all we know, he has an nVidia 9800M in there.
