I think a sequel to BDsT would be pretty cool, hunting down the rest of the Batarians who were in on that whole scenario. But, just an outright massacre? Idk, that is bordering on sick. . . .
I think it should be an option to massacre, but should also be able to imprison, kill the leader, disable the ship and leave them for some other antagonists, that sort of thing. It's all about choice.

If the Alliance and Council hadn't forced the Batarians out of the Traverse, they wouldn't be such a big terrorist threat. I understand that the unclaimed worlds in the Traverse are free game, but the Alliance should have tried to open diplomatic relations to the Batarians and tried to come to an agreement regarding colonization rights in that area. There's thousands of possible candidates for colonization in the Attican Traverse. The Alliance just got greedy.
Does not matter, the Batarians have yet to give a reason to feel sorry for them.
The Batarian Tech expert in Garrus' squad before he was betrayed by Sidonis. He wanted to help make Omega a better place. They may be few and far between, but this proves that not all Batarians are terrorist extremists.
Did that help me or anyone else? No it did not, even Garrus says all the work he did was for nothing.

All I remember was him saying 'not the friendliest guy in the world, but he could hack any system ever built'.
I had this great image of a batarian version of Sten.

It might have helped someone in the short run, at least he tried.

Does not matter whether or not he helps you. You assumed all Batarians are terrorist bastards that deserve to be slaughtered on sight. I proved you wrong.

I will admit that the Batarian in Garrus's squad was probably into some shady things before he joined Garrus. More than likely, he was in the Blue Suns for a while and what he saw there did not sit so well with him. So he quit the Blue Suns or whatever else he was doing to try and redeem himself for what he had done. You make it sound like all Batarians are soulless murderers who deserve no mercy and we shouldn't have any second thoughts about killing them. This Batarian proves that not all of his species are terrorists, extremists, and murderers.

One Batarian. I can name more that are killers, slavers or monsters. That's what I am getting at. There might be a few, but that's the word, a few. Even before they left the ocuncil, the Batarians where monsters and slavery(sp) is part of there culture.

You can't judge the Batarian's use of cultural slavery based on your own morallity, it's racist. I agree that slavery is a horrible thing but I respect the Batarians' right to their own culture.
Plus
It should be noted that these criminals do not represent average citizens, who are forbidden to leave batarian space by their omnipresent and paranoid government.
We have no way of knowing what the average Batarian citizen is like. It's likely they hold some discontent for humans but it seems to me most of the rotten ones flee Batarian space to make it as freelance slavers or mercenaries since they are forbidden to leave their own territories.

Doesn't give them the right to attack human colonies though. That being said, I can imagine the batarians having a society that places great value on social standing (who you have above, and who you have below etc.), and the Hegemony being the Hegemony, they'd apply their morality to that of humanities.
EDIT: I honestly thought i'd beaten Rule 34 until I saw that picture.
